The women were sweet and welcoming, Jax the dog is adorable and the merchandise is PERFECT!!! Wanted everything!!!! Found some great smelling candles and the perfect Sherpa jacket!! 😍”

“Our group headed to Hilo for a fun day out and, as always, we had a great day even though it was a very rainy day. Our stop at Blue Star Trading was awesome! We all found so many items we loved we really needed to limit ourselves. They stock cute, stylish clothes at reasonable prices, along with household items, baby items, and men’s wear. They have some beautiful western sculptures and art, and gorgeous jewelry. It’s a dangerous place for sure because they have so much to choose from. The owner and staff were so helpful and gracious from the moment we walked in the door. While we were there the rain really started to turn into a deluge. We had to figure out how to navigate the flooding street with our packages and a tiny baby in his big stroller. The staff rolled into action. They told my daughter where to pull up to avoid the most water. They donned their raincoats and umbrellas (while taking our packages) and escorted us to our car, packed everything into the trunk, including the stroller, and helped us into the car keeping us as dry as possible. Another example of when you visit Hico you meet the friendliest people.”
