I usually go in the afternoon to evening with family. They have walking trails, piers one high n low. I usually see people with children walking the trails. I see photo shoots with family. One day I saw people fishing on one of the piers. There are picnic areas. Border Patrol always passing through makes one feel safe. BP is always in plain sight. Wildlife is up at night. Views of wild boars always pop at night. Frogs, snakes, skunks 😂 Trust all is awake at night. Will post more videos and/or as time permits.

Interesting history that helped supply water from the Rio Grande river to local farmers. The pump house looks likeit probably did the last time it was still operating.

Neat place. I would have like a little more info on the equipment, maybe I missed a QR code to scan for descriptions but they were out of brochures on it when I asked in the office. Did see quite a few birds.

Loved loved loved this blast from the past and spent hours figuring out some of the engineering that went into the pump station. The museum could be better maintained, and the guidance more complete and better explained. The person at the office was very knowledgeable and helpful. Did not do the birding trails at this visit, but the site is very promising for birding.

To see the history in this location. Thank you for maintaining this portion of our history, no matter how painful some of it may be
