Anytime I need an outfit for almost any occasion - I go to Bananna Republic and specifically the Highland Village store. I love this store because their personal shopper- MaryAnn is fabulous. She is amazing at putting together outfits that look good on me. She has great taste and is so un-intimidating to work with. In addition- she is honest about what does and does not work for me- in the kindest of ways! Thanks again MaryAnn for helping with my last purchase - I love it!

My husband and I walked in today hoping to buy something, and as soon as we walked in we weren't greeted, but followed and watched. I've never felt so uncomfortable shopping for clothing. I brushed it off because my intent was to purchase an outfit. While trying on the clothing I overheard the assoiocate completely change her demeanor when speaking to someone else. We left the store without buying anything and left feeling extremely uncomfortable and uninvited.

I had the urge to buy new clothes, somewhat professional, business casual. First I went to Loft next door and I couldn't find anything. Then I went in BR and was welcomed by an associate who was very helpful. In fact this was my best experience at BR ever because of her. I think her name is Georgette. She was patient and brought me different sizes and colors. What's best was she gave me her honest opinion which pants look better or what color top looks good on me. I really had a good shopping day.

I went there with my mother to try to return pants and exchange pants. The shoe exchange went fine but they didn't have the right pant size so we said we'd do an in store online order. However, we had to remind the associate to help us with the online order. There were three emails listed and we told her the correct email it wouldn't allow her to put our physical email down so she picked a random email without informing us. This turned out to be an old hacked email that my mom hadn't seen on the list. My mom is explaining to her why that emails not okay but she would like a receipt. She explains to my mom that online orders don't get a receipt and my mom who had shopped there an hour earlier thought she did. So we brought along two other associates who explained that online orders don't get receipts. My mom understands but explains she's upset that the associate picked a random email without confirming with her. However, the store associates didn't seem to care and instead were condescendingly explaining to my mom basically how an email worked. One store associate stood calmly at the side, however, the other associate was extremely rude and looked angry and annoyed at my mother the entire time. Then the store associate who made the mistake was explaining to her coworkers that she had said sorry at least three times when instead she only apologized once and then went on to say that she's only human. Yes, obviously you are human and I understand mistakes are made but you offered no solution, did not genuinely apologize, and put the blame on the machine. It seemed almost deliberate that she brought two more associates and then went on to say stuff like that as a way to embarrass my mom and make her seem like the villain. My mom's first language is not English so obviously there's a language barrier. There was no need for the other associate to speak to my mother is such a condescending and rude way. She knows how emails work. Her first language may not be English but emails aren't only from America, she's not stupid. My mom was obviously frustrated but never did she speak to her associate condescendingly and always calmly tried to explain her side. I'm really upset with the way they treated my mom and I hope no one else has to be treated the way she was treated.
