A few months ago I wrote a Google review about this bank and the manager and for some reason it is not showing so if it was removed, I am here to post it again. I had fraud on my account, and I went to the manager and alerted her because I received a phone call from truist updating me of the fraud. I was also told that only a manager could set up my new account, because the transfers that need to be made needed to be done by a manager, and that the manager should contact the fraud department because my account was placed on a hold. I went to speak with a manager and she said she cannot set up the account that it needs an approval. Upon requesting the approval from her so-called fraud department(which was a lady from there district) I was told I could no longer continue my banking relationship with this bank. The fraud happen in Nigeria I am a black African-American, so therefore, I thought I was being misjudged. This Bank is supposed to protect me from fraud not accuse me of it. My information was changed to a different phone number and my email address is not even my own email anymore they took full control of my account . The reason deny me of a account is because of the activity that was happening in my account Previously mind you I only have a direct deposit of $100 go into that account a few Zelle payments For my hair and my nails, nothing to alarm them that I was contacted anything that was fraud on this account previously to the fraud that happened on my account.There was no real reason to deny me for another account. because of this incident, My credit card is behind by two months because I have a 8:30 to-6pm job. Therefore, I cannot make it into a bank and I refuse to do automatic draft from my account because I like things done my way a certain way, i manage my accounts differently hence why I only had $100 in direct deposit going there, also have a line of credit with them mind you I have been banking with them form 2017 . I felt like I was racially being Profile and there is no justice that came out of this. All I wanted was to continue my banking relationship with this bank.

They are worth zero or negative stars.Worst customer care. They blame their own employees who left the branch instead of solving the issue. Terrible scam on attracting new customers sending mails to home addresses. Stay away from this branch & bank.

Do you have to visit at Truist Bank? Don't go to this branch, though. This is the worst Truist bank branch I've ever visited. In other branches, things are easy to handle, but not in this branch. Isn't that amazing? I've even felt racism at this brunch. I reviewed it by e-mail, but I have yet to receive a response. In particular, the person who looks like a manager is the most unkind and unable to handle the work.

The most despicable and most disgusting customer service i have ever received in my life. It ended with the staff calling the police on me for insisting to pull money out of my account that i was rudely told that 'i don't have'. I have multiple personal accounts as well as business accounts with Truist. Any other location i have been to has been a pleasant experience. The lady Penny who i was dealing with was awful, rude, condescending and a liar. She told me all though i had a statement for my business with me that i do not possess an account and that i would be charged to withdraw money. That doesn't even make sense. So Shes admitting that i have an account but tells me i don't? where in the same hell does that add up. This is not the first time that this branch has done this to me. I am starting to think that this might be a racial issue because of my ethnicity. rest assured, this branch will 100% hear from my attorney. I will never ever go back to this cesspool of a bank. I run several businesses and could not even imagine to treat a customer the way they treated me. Even the police when they were called sided with me and instructed the teller to release my funds. They need to fire this lady and replace her with someone that has etiquette and a sense of humanity

We opened a Heloc account which all went smooth. As we were closing discovered their system lacks the ability to make payments from other Fin. Inst was instructed to open a savings account which we could transfer funds to pay the heloc. Asked repeatedly about any extra fee's and was assured none.Low and behold when the statements arrived- we were being assessed a fee. When I called was basically called a liar.I want trust in a bank - regardless if it was stated or not - it clearly was not understood.

Kristie and Sushma and of course Penny are all amazing staff at this location I could not be more pleased. I called Tuesday afternoon about refinancing my auto loan they got back to me during my lunch hour on Wednesday with a new rate incredible and Im very happy how quick they closed everything. Truist is making huge changes and Im glad they have and will be forever a loyal customer for years to come.

This is by far the worst bank with which I have ever dealt! Even in the midst of a global pandemic of a highly contagious, deadly virus, BB&T requires in-person contact for virtually every transaction. Because we needed to do several large transactions during this pandemic, we asked if we could send wires electronically. We were flatly told "No." We threatened to close our account and the woman on the phone said, "OK." Absolutely rude; the worst customer service I have ever experienced (and I am also a former customer of Capital One. I didn't think any bank could beat Capital One in terms of rudeness and inconvenience--I was wrong!). We discovered that one of our other banks could do electronic wires. We have decided to close our BB&T accounts and transfer the funds to that bank--of course, we have to come into the branch or send a notarized letter. Banking with BB&T feels like being transported back to the time of the horse and buggy. Any bank that doesn't realize it is the 21st century is clearly not forward thinking. Avoid the stress and rudeness--bank elsewhere!

Kristie Schuetz and BB&T are amazing! If you're looking for a persona/commercial banker that actually cares about you as a person and sees more than just the dollars your business can bring, look no further than Kristie at BB&T. BB&T is a huge bank but somehow manages to maintain that small bank feeling. Not only do they know my name when I walk in, but while I'm there, it's common to witness the staff welcome several other patrons by their first name. This is the only big bank I've ever seen with this customer experience. Kristie will work hard to make sure your business runs smoothly from the banking side so that as a business owner you have fewer problems to worry about. And it doesn't matter if you're a business owner or just a "regular" person; Kristie and her staff greet, treat, and love every person the same. Keep up the great work. You truly make BB&T seem like the (B)est (Bank) in (T)exas (BB&T).!!

Horrible service, drove there on my lunch break through the drive thru and stood there for 5 mins pushing the call button and NO ONE answered/attended me. Mind you I was the only vehicle in line. It’s cool you won’t be seeing me again I’ll just take my services to ANOTHER branch!

I hate how this company treats people. It truly bothers me that if I write someone a check they get charged $8 to cash my checks. You shouldn't charge someone to cash your check out of your institution. That's why I closed all my accounts. NEVER BANK HERE! They don't care about their clients or yours. Awful customer service and the tellers have complete apathy towards people.
