Not impressed with the customer service . It's seriously lacking at this location & it's every dang time. Even if you hate your job or having a bad day you have to be friendly even if just a little bit.

The staff is very friendly and greeted us with smiles and uplifting voices. The cashier with the red hair, beautiful little soul. I believe her name was Maddie, went above and beyond with customer service aiding my group with a low key crisis. She didn't know we were out of towners and her kind gestures helped in avoiding a crisis. Thanks Maddie. We need more folk like you.

Went to Highlands, Tx Dollar General this morning for a remodle sale, hoping to score a few needed penny items.. it is always a hit or miss if the employee's are doing their job.. As I was doing my thing looking for penny items scanning with my app... the manager and a couple of other people began rolling out cart after cart from the back.. (All Penny Items) I was excited thought maybe they were putting them out to sale.. I asked the manager if they were available for purchase and she told me... Yes but she and 8 other employees were buying and splitting them and that they had pulled it all the night before... literally rang them up right then and there, had their truck back up to the door and had a crew loading it up... to my understanding employee's are not allowed to purchase penny items..

The first time that I ever went into the store the manager was screaming at an employee well I just went there today and had a few items and a manager's kids were running all over the store about I was getting ready to check out and of course they had issues with the items that I said were on sale that were on sale and they refused to sell them to me and at that point she refused to do service with me the manager is very very rude has no people skills whatsoever I'm looking to call corporate now I would not recommend anybody to go to the store. They always got stuff in the way you can't move around you can't do nothing everything's in a different spot totally unorganized store

This place is dysfunctional and disrespectful. I came in at 7:20 on a Saturday evening to buy multi vitamins and the Karen of a manager immediately profiles me and asks if I brought a bag in with me. I'm like uh no I have my keys in my hand. That's bad management skills. She couldn't take a few seconds to look around and see before profiling me nope just immediaty dives right down my throat. So then I get to the line and there's at least 8 people just standing there because this dysfunctional, dystespectful, karen of a manager dosent even have a til open. Probably because she's to busy profiling and doing everything else but her job. So I turned around and left and I will not be back.

Lady that works there is very rude especially to out of towners. Aisle are cluttered with racks of product, they lost all of our buisness.There is 30 plus of us here working.If you didn't have 40 different damn signs posted. I probably would have saw the one you was punching on when you yelled at me.

Staff are nice but every time something shows its on sale, ring it up and no sale. They say o that must be last week's sale. Go there a week later and tag still there.Some of the same items may be in different spots (drinks for example) the store and all will have different prices. Say they will fix it but never do. Employees quick to help but management is useless.Update: It's now a week after I wrote the first part of the review and still all the same sales tags up that they told me they were going to take down a a week before I wrote the review. Going to just start buying 20 things that I know will ring up wrong then have them go look at all the prices they have on the shelves and give me that cost. Happened again 3 days ago. Shelf says 2.50 And rings up 2.85. Tell them it needs changed then and sure enough go in there today And still the wrong tags. Still shopping out the stock carts cause nothing is put up. I wish the older ladies that worked there a few years back were still there. They kept that place perfect and stocked. They we're great. Then one day I come in and they fired everyone that worked there. Was closed for a few days till they hired some people. Since then the place has been a joke.
