“OK, so I was in the area around 8:30pm (Friday night) and I whipped into a plaza to buy myself a bottle of my favorite liquor to take home and a gentleman was coming up behind me into the liquor store that I was going into and I held the door open for him and we exchanged pleasantries and he said, “When you’re done go across the street and get yourself a drink, I got you.” I looked at him and said, “You must know” and we smiled at each other- cause I was for real thirsty; it’s hot in Houston and I’ve been working all day and I was like, I could use a nice cold drink right about now!! I ain’t lying, I was grateful for the offer and I took him up on it, too. I asked him what was the name of the place? And he said, “Daiquiri Trap”. And, sure enough, when I made my purchase at the liquor store, I drove right across the street and he was sitting outside on a stool in front when I pulled up and he seemed happy to see me and when I approached him he told me to go inside and get whatever I wanted. He had already mentioned at the liquor store earlier that they had a wide variety of selections and he never lied…They have a plethora of daiquiris to choose from and the young lady that was serving at the bar was pleasant and helped me choose a really good flavor. It was called “Feds watching” that’s the one I went with and that thang was GOOD!!!? Oh my gosh‼️ I’ve never had a daiquiri that good!! Seriously! hands-down! I honestly can’t wait to go back on that side of town and try my best to taste every daiquiri on the menu!!?? Thank you, Major?? I really appreciate you and you know I needed dat Delicious Daiquiri fo’ sho❣️?
Sorry, had to come back and edit this post because I forgot to mention the swings!!! the swings are everything‼️ that really caught my attention. That’s so unique and creative❣️❣️ Oh my goodness! and Major told me that he designed them himself and put them up. That is so cool!!! You know, I had to sit in one of them while I was waiting for my daiquiri to be made? I Love it❣️❣️❤️?? ??”

As I read the other reviews here I am d*** struck by the review that Tiffany Ramirez left. She must be sadly mistaken on where she visited. Also, she should be lucky that her sodas were replaced. With any store once you buy it, take it home and open it, the store is no longer required to replace anything. Damn ungrateful people anyways. I go to Cuevas Liquor all of the time. It's the only liquor store I will go to. Some people are just so immature.”

“Good selection and prices. They have surprise mini bags which are fun too, but the variety in the bags has gone down. We used to be able to buy 2-3 and only have a few doubles. Now if we buy 2-3 the only difference will be the flavor of the 99’s that are included, and the other 5-6 bottles will be the exact same.”

The first location did not have what we were looking for but then again now I was at the wrong location from back in August but they called the other store. they had what we needed. put us the items to the side and they were there and waiting on me when I got there. other location that I went to has a kitchen cheese meats. you name it pastry department best truffles and crumble lemon bars ever. can't wait to get back next month. The customer returned, apologized, thanked her and continues to patronize this business. It is our duty to refuse underage, inebriated or otherwise impaired customers. “Zipps has hard to find, allocated bourbon at good prices. Buffalo Trace is usually always in stock at or below MSRP, same for Weller SR. They also have some great store picks like Four Roses small batch select, and 1792 barrel proof. The higher end bottles like Stagg, and Blanton's are marked up.If you like bourbon, I'd highly suggest making a stop at Zipps Liquor.”
