New to the area. I was referred here by a friend. Just needed a spool of thread for a project. Before purchasing, I asked if there was somewhere nearby that might have it. I really didn't need to spend $10 on thread. I was told there was nowhere else nearby. 5 minutes later I found what I need across the street. I made my purchase and went straight back to this business within a few minutes to get a refund. I was kindly told all sales are final. I could understand if I had purchased a quilt or something more pricely....seriously, you should have a sign on your register. I definitely won't refer anyone to shop here! It's not about the money, its the principal. No way to earn/ run a business in my opinion.

Was visiting Galveston and stopped at this store. Very helpful ladies. Ended up calling the store after I got home I wanted some more fabric I'm the one kind I bought and could not find online. I found out the name of my fabric. Unfortunately, they wouldn't let me order over the phone I had to do it online. Feel like the shipping rates are higher than most others. Seems to take a little bit longer than normal for me to receive. I looked at my USPS informed delivery app. This is the travel route of my package. From Hitchcock it went to North Houston then Avondale Arizona, to Phoenix then Tucson Az, El Paso, Dallas, Austin and finally San Antonio. Little crazy if you ask me

The ladies were so nice! I know nothing about sewing and they were so helpful and offered a solution to my problem that worked.

Lovely sales ladies, helped me find a unique panel for a baby gift. Three books, a pillow, and a stuffed cat.

Awesome quilt and fabric shop located in historic Hitchcock, Texas?. We loved the variety of fabrics and supplies for sewing and quilting. The wonderful hanging quilts throughout the store added a warm vibe which was added by Yolanda and Kimberly. They both were so helpful and we bothloved chatting with them, feeling like friends when we left. Look forward to returning next year?

I can't say enough great things about this establishment. Let me list a few. Excellence service, training, friendly, helpful employees/owner, squeaky clean, and choices of fabrics and patterns to sew. Oh, and the training/classes are half the cost of other places I've tried.Regarding service dogs. Realize that in today's world, there are people who "claim" that their dog is a service dog. This is not always the truth. An employee of this establishment was viciously attacked by a "supposedly" service dog. Unfortunately, real service dogs and their owners pay the price for someone trying to cheat the system.

I entered with my service dog so that my wife could shop. I was immediately told the my dog was not allowed. I was refused entry and service by the owner. When I identified my dog as a service dog (and she was wearing a red vest that said, service dog on the vest) she very aggressively said “nope, not welcome!”

What a treasure! The owner has an eye for great quilt fabrics. Charming shop with every imaginable tool, ruler, and gizmo the quilt world has made. Inspired by displays. Welcoming warm shop filled with must-see goodies. I'll be back! It's every quilter's dream shop.
