Thank you so much to everyone from Primo Processing. The food you provided to all the responders during the Kerr County Flood Incident of 2025 was outstanding. To top it off every volunteer you had serving food from the kids to the grandparents did so with a cheerful attitude. I've worked many incidents and this one had the best food a carnivore could ask for. Thank you and next time I am passing through Hondo I plan to stop at your store!

These guys kept us fed in the aftermath of the Kerrville flood for weeks. They were serving everyone at the emergency operations center. Absolutely fantastic food and great people.

Have used Primo’s twice for wild game processing and have not been disappointed. Top notch operation, high quality processing and at a fair price.
Have also been a few times to the meat market side and have enjoyed their steaks and boudin.

We have used Primos before but never from the state of Florida.
They shipped 158 lbs of perfectly packaged axis, nilgai and Oryx right to our front door in less than 24 hours like it never left the freezer!

Had a deer dropped off at their joint location with mesquite creek taxidermy. Didn't know what to expect, but they worked with me on my orders timing and selection. I picked up 20lbs of deer sticks spicy, summer sausage, chorizo, and then had burger mix and backstraps. The deer sticks have the best flavor on any stick I have ever eaten. I took them to a golf tournament with my deer averse friends and they all loved them, as well as the summer sausage! The chorizo I was a little skeptical with, but wanted to give it a shot! Excellent, holds up well in a pan, doesn't disintegrate like store bought chorizo. I live 4 hours away from hondo, but would not hesitate to make a trip for the processing! Awesome experience

This was my first time using Primo Processing, and I was extremely impressed.I dropped off a small 66 pound field dressed doe, and placed a simple order.Back straps cut in half, tenderloins left whole, dry sausage for the rest.The back straps and tenderloins were expertly butchered, with all silver-skin removed.The proprietor suggested Chili Pequin seasoning for the dry sausage, and I was hesitant, because that’s a hot pepper.He assured me that he uses just enough to change the flavor, and that he seasons the dry sausage lightly enough so children can eat it.The result was amazing, with bright piquin pepper flavors at the beginning and a nice slow burn at the end. Just spicy enough that I wanted to sip a cold beer.The venison to pork ratio, along with the nicely balanced seasoning and smoke, produced a venison dry sausage that I find superior to any other processor that I’ve tried in the last ten years.I would also like to compliment the staff. Each and every employee that I spoke to during the drop off and pick up process was polite, professional and pleased to do business with me. Every single person I met there smiled at me, and seemed genuinely happy to be working there.I truly appreciate great customer service and a high quality product.I will definitely be back next year, and thank you all for a wonderful experience at Primo Processing!

Took a small white tail spike in weighing only 74 lbs, field dressed. I had nothing special done, just some hamburger, backstrap kept whole but cut in half, deboned one hindquarter and the other cut up in steaks, which were in two huge packages enough to feed 8+ people. I was not expecting to pay $208 for a simple processing! That’s the most I have ever paid and probably won’t use them again. I had another whitetail doe processed in Sabinal, basically the same order except tenderized steaks and sausage made, and I only paid $115 for the steaks and burger, and another $70 for a ton of link sausage.
