Absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! We have a 3 year old cat that has gone through some serious medical issues this past week and we knew she was declining and on the verge of passing away. She hasn’t eaten in over a week and drinking very minimal water. We called and got pricing then showed up to have her put to sleep. We love this cat more than anything and I knew what was wrong.. (I use to be a vet tech) we were told she wouldn’t do the euthanasia but instead wasted our money with bloodwork and told us to go home. We got the call this morning that our cats kidneys are shutting down just as I expected and now because she made us waste money on bloodwork we are tapped out money wise on having her put down. She stayed up all night hurting and Dr. Dori did nothing to help. I have never had an experience like this at a veterinary office before! Don’t waste your time or money here. I’m so heartbroken over this whole situation.

Good knowledge of how to treat animals. Kind and provide detailed information on what you need to do for your animal care once you get home. Highly recommended.

Dr. Bobby and the team at Loop 494 Animal Hospital took amazing care of my dog while they removed a large tumor from his side. From the front desk, to the vet techs, to Dr. Bobby, they are all amazing people. We are a new patient to the clinic, and will become regulars from now on.

I adopted my precious baby December 26th 2019. She was 12 weeks old. She is a Lionhead rabbit (exotic pet) and the only vets that would see her were the group at 494 animal hospital. They are awesome! Cinnabun just turned 4 in September. She was spayed there and has recently had her molars filed. The care was wonderful and they love my bunny almost as much as I do. She is a very mean rabbit at home but she behaves for them! I highly recommend the vets and the staff there!

Always kind service. The doctors are down to earth and explain clearly what is going on with your pet. The front office staff are always polite and helpful.

They are good people, but are also poor on respect for clients' and their pets' time. It is not unusual to wait over an hour because they overbook, and spend time on too much chit chat. It's arrogant to think you can do that to people when there are many other, fine clinics in the area. They are also on an extremely busy Loop 494 that will be more so after the road work is completed. The clinic is right up to this road, and is basically tiny and cramped; the parking lot is barely there. The owner should have moved to a better, safer location and built an excellent clinic and boarding facility long ago. Yes, they are good people, but the clinic I switched to treats us and our babies and time much better. Sadly, because I do like them, I cannot recommend Loop 494.

While I really liked them when we first started using them, this vet clinic has gotten too busy to care for ordinary animals. They are so excited to see exotics come in, but dogs seem to get a "meh" response. It's impossible to get a quick appointment, so any health issue might go too long without treatment and become an emergency and they don't take emergencies of the dog variety. I won't be back. I care too much for my fur babes.

I been taking my cats here for the last 3 years and of course as a local I like to support my local business. The reason why local shops disappear from the world of business, my personal opinion, is not only for the power that big corporations have over certain markets but because our local shops get greedy and over book clients just like regular doctors offices and of course airlines do. My point is that we seek out to this professionals out of love and concern for our beloved pets and we want the best for them despite the fact that it may take out $200 or even more at times out of our pockets to care for them. I know that times are tough with Covid-19 and all but if your client has to wait at least 20 minutes over their schedule time, please let them know, it is just a polite thing to do. After a long wait in the parking lot with no news of any of the employees, I went in and inquired about how much longer I was waiting, receptions tells me "it may be a while" when I said I needed to re-schedule because I could not make it the next day, I felt that my cat was being punished due to the lack of flexibility on the vets part. Mind you I already waited 2 weeks for this appointment and over and hour and a half on the day of the appointment in the parking lot before I decided to go in and check about my time. She replied that the only day she had available was going to be "ANOTHER 2 WEEKS" Again I am still willing to give my local business another chance but I am talking about my cats health here, she is not another client number she is my cat damn it and she deserves kindness and loving respect just the same way I do it when I reach into my wallet to pay for the services rendered, even when I am not happy about it...This Time Loop 494 does not even a 1 star although I had to give 1 since the system does not have a 0 star on the review...When local business get too personal with the clients, the respect and reliability disappears from the service and that my friend is when the doomsday of the business is in the horizon.... Ps all she needed was a rabies shot....Truly Yours. "you only get one more shot client"

Horrible! Staff is very rude and unprofessional. Made an appointment for my dog at 4:30, checked in at 4:20 and waited over an hour before I ended up leaving. (Waste of time) When I called the front desk to ask what was going on, they seemed annoyed and uncooperative. Didn't care to explain why they were so behind. Just kept telling me to wait and couldn't give me an estimated time knowing I had already been waiting an hour. First and last interaction with this business.

Really happy they take exotics, I got my rabbit neutered here and I was really happy with the whole process (my boy was not, but he's doing fine!) and the cost was very reasonable considering they kept him for a few hours after the procedure to make sure he was okay. I will keep coming back!

I've only been going here for a year for my two ferrets and they have misgendered my female ferret as male, whenever they guaranteed that it was a male. Until recently a different vet came to me and told me my male is actually a female, aside from that they gave the wrong vaccines to the wrong ferrets and then ran out of the rabies vaccines. I also make my appointments ahead of time so when I arrived there today they told me I wasn't on the schedule, and were expecting me to wait hours as a walk in it was a complete waste of a drive not to mention in general when I did show up earlier from the appointment time I still had to wait longer just to get attended. I am definitely never coming back here again.

My cat was sneezing, I blamed it on the Sahara Sands but over the July 4th weekend my cat got worse. Kitty didn't leave the bedroom and I never saw her go to the water bowl and she turned down food,!(very very NOT NORMAL, she's an eating machine) Called 494 because they are always the one I go to if one of my fur babies is sick. Nona said I would have to wait at least 2 hours because after a holiday weekend, the clinic was packed. I hung up and thought about what to do. This stressed me out. There are 3 other vets in my area but I haven't heard awesome things about any of them. I decided to risk the wait and packed Clementine in the car, stressing the whole way there. I drove up (forgot my COVID mask) and waited in the car. The parking lot was busy with vehicles so I was prepared to wait. I called the front office and waited....for about 30 minutes. That's all, 30 minutes! A vet tech came to my car, picked up my cat and took her in. A few moments later another tech called, told me what they'd determined and asked if I would allow an antibiotic treatment. Since I'd forgotten my mask, one of the techs brought me one so that I could go pay. Dr Bobby told me what her fever was, the course of treatment and that he had gotten her to eat! Bing, bang, boom I got in, my pet was treated and was out of there in less than an hour. Over all I can not say enough great things about the Clinic! They are the best!
