I can't thank Mrs. Juren enough for the Several years that she and her staff helped my daughter and I through our homeschooling process! The genuine concern that she has for kids in our communities and the desire that she has to watch them excel and succeed while offering her wisdom, knowledge, time and assistance is beyond refreshing and commendable in itself!!!! I would and do refer her first and foremost to anyone that is considering homeschooling their child 💯💯💯 Thank You from the bottom of my heart Mrs.Juren and to your staff as well!!!♥ï¸

I came to this bookstore because I needed hep. After an unsuccessful search for a certain book I began to feel a bit hepless. But thankfully- The employees were very hepful. Finally, I found the book I was searching for..."Created to be His Hepmeet".

This bookstore is actually a resource for families looking for support while home schooling, or for additional learning for their kids. On top of being a learning based bookstore, there are many classrooms at the back for the classes offered here, for grades K and up, but particularly grades 6-12. The bookstore is well laid out, by either topic or teaching system (I.e. for math, Saxon and Singapore). The variety is really nice with options for small children (coloring and fun geared) as well as upper levels, with serious textbooks. Whether you're looking for additional materials for kids in school or to teach at home, there's definitely a book or two on the subject you need. They also appear to have a built in network of local teachers in different subjects, like music or physical education, if you're looking for referrals. While we have not had a child attend any classes here yet, they look promising, and will update when I have information on how that experience is.

Kind and helpful service, great selection of design books and magazines. It really pays to spend some time in the shop exploring. Way better than scrolling the internet for design ideas.

I do love book people,I could spend hours in their store and coffee shop. They have a huge variety of books and magazines as well as eclectic gifts as well.I love their body section too, greats soaps and candles! One of the things that keeps me from going here more often is that some of the employees definitely have a pretentious air about them. Not all of them, some are sweet and helpful; but it has definitely dampened my experience with them. With that said,I do prefer to shop there for my book needs ever since Whole Life Books has shut down.

They have extremely poor customer service. I am new to homeschooling and really could of used some help when I went in, but instead all the employees did was stare at us, and made us feel uncomfortable. Not one person offered any assistance. Some people walked in a minute after us and they were greeted, and asked if they needed help with anything. I don't understand why everyone who shops there wouldn't get the same service. I had also called looking for a specific item to see if they had it before I made the hour trip out there, and the lady that answered was less than helpful and seemed as if I was bothering her. I sent an email saying how bad my customer experience was, but no one even responded back. Without customers you have no business. You should treat every customer the same not matter what color they are!
