The finest Italian food, the finest service. This restaurant is famous for the care given to their offerings. Always impressive.

The food and service were excellent as always. The kids birthday party was quite loud, and sadly we were seated right next to them. Perhaps encourage a private room for a group that size next time, or some other creative solution.

The ambience is great for any special occasion. The service is very good, and the waiter explained all the "specials for the evening" that made you want all of them. My first visit, and surely will not be my last.
About the restaurant: Tony Vallone has set the standard for Italian cuisine and fine dining in Houston for more than 50 years. His latest version of Tony's is situated in the beautiful structure in Greenway Plaza. Yes, the interior displays original artwork by John Palmer, and there's a waterfall, delicate pale woods and plenty of natural light. But the real reason people are still flocking to Tony's has a lot to do with the always-professional service and the creations that come from the finely tuned kitchen.Food & Drinks: Start with the tuna crudo, or if you're splurging, the traditional caviar service. We then opt for either the risotto made with 25-year-old balsamic or the soppressata-stuffed ravioli. Dinner also offers a tasting menu and nightly selections from the chef. (Former chef de cuisine Kate McLean has left the restaurant, and Austin Waiter, who was previously the sous chef, has assumed the title.) One-thousand-plus wines and cocktails complement the experience. And for dessert? Cheesecake, but if you have time to wait, always order the famous chocolate soufflé.
