I spent most of the 2023 Holiday Season with friends in Howe, TX. They turned me onto their fried chicken, fish and pie.
I drove back to the store an hour later to special order a whole pie (ready the next afternoon $20). Shamelessly, I ate the whole pie - sharing it with my hosts didn't cross my mind once!
I do not recommend a whole pie in 3 days unless you enjoy sitting in the bathroom, alone, for hours the next day.
I doubt I will be back that way again. Here is a video I sent to my friends letting them know I made it back from a day trip safely.
