The guy ar counter was pretty rude, talked to me like I was an idiot, didn't want to help, couldn't cross reference part, but supposedly a small engine pro, never return to this place, never recommend

I took my chainsaw in for repair. It would not start. They called me yesterday and told me they could not fix it. Could not find parts. I go there today to pick it up. It is brought out to me in pieces, COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED. The carburetor is gone. They cannot find it. This is total BS. If they would have told me that if they can't fix it or I don't agree to the repair price I'm going to get it back completely disassembled in a box I would have walked out and not left it there. If you're thinking about dropping off something for repair here, think again and remember what I just said.

This place is a joke. I have warranty for my generator and they send me here and it’s been nothing but trouble. They take months to look at the generator then when I pick it up it’s still not repaired. Then the lady want to argue with me about the generator that it has 200 plus hours on it… it’s brand new only used one time. Now I have to waste my time again to go pickup a generator when I know it’s not fixed. I feel that they diagnose the problem as maintenance related so the customer has to pay out of pocket because warranty does not pay their ridicules fees.

We took a small Stihl Chainsaw in for engine repair. Paid the initial inspection fee. Received call back that they were unable to make repairs because they were unable to find parts. Went back to pick-up, and our chainsaw was in pieces. They couldn't even find the carburetor. So we left $40+ broker, chainsaw in pieces in a box and no carburetor to try to rebuild. Stay away!

I go to AJ's every time I need parts for my lawn mowers weed eaters or any small engine work. They always have what I need and the staff there are always above reproach.

Called ahead to make sure I had the right part for my mower, the lady asked me a couple of questions and gave me a part number. When I get there, the man at the front counter looks up the part number and hands me a wrong part number. He goes back after cussing about the lady who answered my call. After everything appeared to be in order, I get the part home and it is clearly the wrong size and configuration for my machine. Never again!

Great place and some honest insight on my Ryobi power washer I brough it in for repair it's too bad warranty didn't cover it repair bill was over $250. I did notice other people having the same issues after reading a lot of the reviews here it was a cheap product but that's on my end not only that, but it seems this place is the only Ryobi service center in the area but know I understand why no other small engine place wants to work on them. had a good conversation about this with a young man up front when I went to pick it up at first I was a little upset but after hearing him out I understand. Next time I will do more research now when I buy power washers or lawnmowers ill make sure there are more service centers around and if parts are availability

Took in my simpson 3600 psi Pressure washer into A.J.'S in January 2025 because Simpson says that they are a certified repair shop for warranty I let a couple months go by Then call to get updated on the status of my pressure washers They said it was going to be the next job Friday morning So the following Monday I called and they told me again. It was going to be next that they had another big piece of equipment They had to squeeze in on Robert's table (The mechanic that was working there) Waited another month No calls From them I started calling once a week And it was.
The same story yours will be very next 5 months later
I go to pick up my pressure washers Robert, the mechanic that was working there.
Was telling me that he really don't know what he was doing. That the owner, the old lady in the office Miss patt
wants him to work on all this equipment and he don't know what he is doing. He is a electrician And he hopes that he fixed my pressure washer right.I Bring home the pressure washer first time I use it oil was all over the place Coming
From the pressure washers Took back into A.J.'S Ask to speak to Robert again.
And they told me he no longer works there I asked who Is the mechanic that will be working on my machine So
He could see all the oil on it before I left They said that they have one of the front Counter Guys they put in the back working on the equipment. And they have no idea when they would get around to it. I was in the back. They have At least a hundred If not more generators, pressure washers , lawnmowers You name it it's there!! I seen one generator a big Generac I
Was interested in I asked if it was for sale He informed me that
All the equipment was customer's waiting on repair. I spoke with miss patt And she tried to assure me That's the front counter guy knows what he's doing This place is on a downward spiral. I probably won't see my pressure washer for another 5 months or more.
The delusional old lady That owns the place miss patt Talks to you like you don't know anything I've spoke with her workers and I know more What's going on in that place then she does. I will update when I hear something about my pressure washers

I rate this place a zero. My lawn mower has been in since march and here it is 5/23 and they still have not looked at my mower. I was told 2 weeks ago that it was next. I finally called and ask them to refund my diagnostic fee so that I can take it somewhere else. Believe all the reviews here. Do not waste your time bringing your equipment here.

Although all the employees are polite, the customer service and repair service is absolutely terrible! The TORO website listed this place as an 'Autorized Warranty Repair Shop' for TORO brand yard equipment. I took my 60volt Toro trimmer to them because the battery was defective and it was only about 2 months old. This shop had my trimmer for 90 days (yes, 3 months) and the problem was STILL not corrected. Their mechanic ordered a new power-head and a new battery charger..... but not a new battery and it was the BATTERY that was defective all along. Very disappointing service and I DO NOT recommend using this repair shop for ANYTHING!
4/28/25- They finally wound up giving me a brand new battery.

Terrible customer service. They will see you stand there and completely ignore you. Prices for parts and machines are extremely high, you can get cheaper at any other store. Everything is overpriced. They are the only store in the area which is the reason they act untouchable. Take your money else where trust me

They will usually have the part you need but expect to be talked to as though you're a 4-year-old and don't know what you want. The ratings on here are true. Seems like the parts counter staff is rude to the customers. Went in with an edger belt with the number still printed on the side of it. After asking me what the name and year of the edger was and me not knowing. They were like well how are we supposed to know what one?"" After all that, they ended up bringing me one with the same pt# on it that I had. This was twice I was there in about 7 years and treated the same way. Only go there if you absolutely have to.
