These people suck!!!!!! All they care about is making money. I have been coming to them with my pet needs for a long time and recently, I had two horrible experiences. First and worst of all, one of my dogs recently died. I got home and found him unresponsive but his body was very warm and I was just mortified and confused. I frantically called Atascazoo because they are my dogs Vet and they are the closest. These people told me not to bring him there!!!!!! They said they are not an emergency clinic so basically, “Not Our Problem”. The Vet down the street (which are not an emergency clinic either) told us to rush him in. We did but it was too late.Second horrible experience was a couple of months earlier with my 17-year-old doggie. We knew it was about that time because he was old and in really bad shape. I took him in on Thursday because his breathing sounded weird, they told me that he was fine, charged me $200 and sent me home. They told me if he keeps feeling bad, just to bring him back in. The same week Saturday he sounded a little worse so we took him back. Saturday they said that had to put him down because it was time, and they charged me another $400.Stay away from these people If you care about your pets!!!!!!!

They are friendly, quick, always take plenty of time for explanation and I never feel like they are just trying to upsell me stuff

I've been going here for over 20 yearswith my pets! The cost seems higher than expected, but I like the convenience of the location, as well as the staff!

We have been going to Atascazoo for over 25 years with all our pets. They have always been caring and professional. we have had to say tearful goodbye to many and they have always been comforting and supportive. If you truly love your pet this is the ONLY place to go.

I had an emergency situation this morning and Atascazoo was only vet open at 7am. I’d never been there and they took my fur baby in right away. Within mins I was signing docs to have him put down as nothing could be done. They were quick, didn’t drag their feet because they didn’t have records, and allowed my fur baby to pass away peacefully rather than in my car waiting for our vet to open at 9am. I can’t thank the team enough in how they handled me in my emotional state.

They're amazing with my dog and my cat. I always feel very heard with any concerns with my pets and they explain everything in terms that I can understand. Front desk staff is also very kind as well!

This was the trip that every pet parent dreads. Unfortunately I had to put my baby Katie to sleep. Everyone here was very comforting and respectful. Thank yall for everything that you do.

This was the second time that I have boarded with Atascazoo and I was very disappointed.I gave them a white Bichon Friesep0 with the exception of his front paws, which he licks causing them to have a rust color. When I picked my pet up his back paws and legs were rust colored. His entire underside was rust colored along with under his chin. Now I ask you, what could have caused this? Not licking. How could he reach under his chin? He couldn't. It's impossible along with his legs and portions of his underside.I took my dog to the groomer and I asked the groomer what it could be that turned his entire underside rust. She had a simple explanation in that he had probably laid in his urine as urine will also turn white fur rust. The groomer had to shave my dog to get rid of all the rust colored fur. Needless to say, I was quite unhappy. He looks much better now but it will take a while for his hair to grow out.I will never board my dog at Atascazoo! Furthermore, they nickel and dime you for everything. I paid $60 for them to drop a chew in his food bowl each morning. It was nothing technical that required a doctor and still I paid for this service. My dog was also bathed while at Atascazoo. Beware, they don't blow dry they air dry. His fur looked like they didn't even brush him! So disappointing. You have been warned. Don't board at Atascazoo. They don't care about your fur baby only your money.
