I have been a BOA customer for 20 years. Wanted to take advantage of there 0% Balance Transfer Credit Card; therefore applied. Received a Congratulations! You will receive a $ 17,000 line of credit and you will be receiving the card between 5-7 Business days. Obviously, financial decisions are made when you know you will be transferring 2 high interest rate CC balances to 0% interest. To my surprise after3 Business days and a weekend, I looked at my BOA account online and had the new card appear with a $ 2,500 limit. No phone call, no email to explain the change. I then had to wait on hold numerous times just to get a person who told me a financial advisor was not available to answer my question. Finally received a Financial Supervisor on the phone today to be told basically, they changed their mind and acted as if the $2,500 was great. I do not need 2,500 of credit to purchase stuff or pay bills! I wanted a balance transfer with 0% interest. Very disappointing this is how they treat their customers of 20 years! You will definitely be losing mine and my husbands Business. It's not about the credit line as much as it's about stating one thing, in writing, and then changing your mind after the fact with zero notice! Very poor business practice!

Wish they didn't shut down teller lanes. Their hours aren't great so it's not very convenient to bank at this location anymore. You get the feeling they don't really want your business. Also bank is pretty old and dingy.

I do not like Bank of America, the bankers in the front are nice. But the management is not willing to help with anything. I spent 8 months with the bank never had a over draw or any problems. One day when i was trying to get my student loan taken out of the bank. The wrong account # was used it went to the savings and not the checking. So the school tried to pull the money out and it would not go through, even tho it never fully overdrew the account they still charged me 78$ for a overdraw fee. I talked with the management and the lady told me there was nothing they could do for me that i was on my own and it was my fault. That same day i took all my student loan money out an moved banks and ill never look back. very disappointed.
