Only 1 cashier checking out customers and 4 or 5 registers shutdown, with a long line of customers. A customer had about 10 gift cards and it took the cashier about 15 minutes just to ring up that 1 customer. When I finally got to the cashier, I asked why they didn't open up another register with the line being so long. All the sudden another employee, manager maybe (who knows), showed up and started saying I should have come earlier and I had nerve to complain. They should have opened another register instead of leaving all their customers waiting like that. There were no employees on the floor anywhere and certainly not restocking shelves, since Big Lots is going out of business. I guess they were hiding in the back. No wonder they are going out of business: bad customer service, blaming the customer for their incompetence, over priced for a discount store, and lazy, bitter employees.

I went into this Big Lots on 7/25/2024 with the intent to purchase furniture. They have a large selection of couches and chairs. I spent about 20 minutes browsing the furniture section and found what I wanted to buy. I asked workers 3 separate times for assistance, and it was either "not their department" or they said they would come back to help me. After an hour of waiting, I left. This was very disappointing, as I intended to purchase a couch, chair, and an end table.

Found greatd quality COTTON SHEETS, great price compared to Walmart or Ross or Burlington! No cheap microfiber sheets that make you sweat all night.

The store is really nice & big with lots of beautiful furniture, but don't go to the womens restroom there. It's a shame that they keep all the stalls locked. I figure they don't wont to clean up so they keep all the stalls locked so you can't go in to use it. You will probably have to get an associate which isn't fair they should just keep the restroom locked. Not good for someone that have a weak bladder.

Lots of merchandise. I had to continue to ask for prices. The young lady was very helpful with the pricing gun. I'll take pictures next time.

Customer service was terrible , asked a sales lady for help she kept walking she stated she would be with me in a moment 30 minutes past never came back to service she was talking with another customer l think it was a personel conversation l left the store
