Horrible experience went in for my baby 3rd birthday. I asked for help to which one can we can get her birthday day, spend about 30 minutes getting her friend. After we got her friend all together that she picked, we were told that that was not part of the birthday bears. Employee said that's fine we can fix it and he proceed to take the friend away and said we will just make another from the right another one from the birthday bunch. I spend 30 mins here with my baby and she picked out that one, since I was told any of thoes were part of it and now you want to take her friend away and destroy it and make another one. Like what's wrong with you. The manager came and re-explained that it was not a birthday bear and that sorry we were told otherwise. Outstanding customer service! I'm not mad at paying full price or getting one or two more. Am mad that it's our 1st time making one for her, and it was a horrible experience. From her face, when he took away the bear and said he would just make another one to the manager, re-explaining that it was wrong info. That is sorry we didn't know better, basically. Never again. I know one person vs. a million, not much to lose, but that sucked.

I went to Build-A-Bear to get Moca, and it was such a fun experience! There were a lot of people, but everything was well-organized, and the staff was super friendly. We got to choose the perfect outfit for Moca, and the whole process of bringing the bear to life was just amazing.
The energy in the store was great, and even with the crowd, the staff made sure everyone had a good time. I loved how interactive and special they made the experience. Definitely a place I’d visit again!

Love my stuffy that was purchased, will not be returning due to unprofessionalism and immaturity. Bullying, antagonizing and admitting to the customer “ you made my blood boil” is the most ignorant thing I’ve ever heard. To be verbally attacked and accosted as a consumer at a teddy bear store is embarrassing and illegal. We waited in line and was told we couldn’t be helped because “her line was long” we stepped aside and still didn’t receive instructions or assistance “. And to appropriate her own wrong actions, the worker berated and verbally attacked us; attempting to jump on the situation. Very disgusting behavior and it was unwarranted. Life is hard so we chose not to go to the franchise owner or manager because we literally feel sick to our stomachs. Worst experience ever. And she can continue to lie to herself but we have video evidence of the mistreatment and I’m sure the store has it. Really hope the owner reads this. Very disappointed and literally sick to our stomachs. So embarrassing. Never dealt with this in real life and it’s 2025. Refused to help the customer, customer is pleasant and nice, no instructions, looked over our heads at the line behind us and made us move so she could help everyone behind us. All we wanted was our highland bear we purchased. Then at the end, after showing the receipt and evidence to the worker, the lady who ignored us literally says, “who order is that” as we both were there explaining this is the order you ignored 1 1/2 hour ago. I got a memory bear for my daughter Christmas ‘23 from my grandma. The message on the paw isn’t working as well as it should. I got one for myself with a message from my grandma and it stopped working too. I’m disappointed and saddened. I hopped to have these last more than a few months. It was supposed to be a keepsake for us with her voice in it but it’s slowly fading away. ?

Edwin made the experience he was welcoming , interactive the entire time and over all a model employee, he definitely deserves to be trained for management due to the fact that his customer service, and customer connection was 100% on point I haven’t made a bear since i was 7 and build a bear is still the same inviting and welcoming it definitely was a great way to end my date with my husband

we tried making it in for my nieces 1st birthday they were so rude when we walked in , and they said they were closed for the night 25 minutes early than what they closed

Had a fun experience. They sing on the birthday celebration, help build the bear etc. But we went on my daughters birthday and they were closed. Tuesday afternoon, just locked and dark no explanation so we didn't get to do it that day. Had to go back on a day hubby could join hs

It was 7:40pm and the doors were already locked and the worker was already closing down the registers. Please change your closing time on Google to 7:30pm if that is the case. It’s very deceptive to advertise that you close at 8:00pm.
