Lists free airport shuttle. But it doesn't run late at night, and only runs once per hour, so still had to pay for 2 Ubers.

Made us wait 40 minutes at the airport for the shuttle and then when we called back, we were told there is no shuttle service from the airport on the day we arrived. Rude behavior from Reception desk. Asked for general manager multiple times during the stay but never heard back. Phone in room not working. WIll not stay again at this place. Contacted Choice hotels customer service after stay. In short don't expect the hotel staff to do anything to make your stay comfortable and better.

HAS COCKROACHES!!! OWNER KNOWS!!! SEE PICTURES AND VIDEOS!!!Definitely my worst experience with a hotel ever! I was in Houston and got in town a day earlier than expected. I decided to book something just for one night to sleep then go to a Hilton that I booked for the remainder of my trip. I decided to book a Comfort Inn since the public perception is that they are a good budget hotel chain with a minimum standard of excellence that has to be adhered to. Boy was I wrong.It started at check in. This location allowed me to check in 2.5 hrs early. During the check-in the clerk struggled to get it done smoothly like most hotels. Things like reservation info, room assignments, photo coping my ID, deposit, etc. Process took about 15 minutes.Once I got my room (Room 103), the door was propped open like it had just been cleaned. I go inside and it was a handicap accessible room which was not something I booked. The bed sheets were made but the pillows and decorative blanket was stacked on the tv stand. The room carpet and chairs had stains. Since all I wanted was a clean bed to sleep in for the night and a serviceable shower, I was willing overlook all of these red flags.I left to go downtown and brought dinner back that evening to eat in the room before going to bed. As I was eating on the desk, I noticed an insect close to my food. Thinking it was an ant, I just killed it and thought nothing of it. Then within minutes, another much larger insect fell onto my bare leg since I was wearing shorts. This is were I know we had a problem. I immediately started looking for more and found them. I killed one large one with a room pamphlet. I trapped another larger on with a plastic cup. Then more tiny ones were crawling around the wall, desk, ice bucket, and lamp. Upon closer inspection, they were cockroaches, large and small. I grabbed all my stuff and got the hell out of that room.I went to the front desk and a different younger lady was there. I told her about a large cockroach problem in room 103. She did not display much worry or sense of urgency. She did ask me if I had a video of the cockroaches? I did and I also showed her the room with the ones I killed or trapped. She said that all the other rooms were booked for the night. I asked if there was another partner hotel they can put me in. She said that this hotel was privately owned and they didn’t work with anyone else. She said she would have to call the manager. 10 minutes goes by and no response. She then said that I could use another room and she would cancel that person’s reservation. It sucked for that person but maybe they may have dodged a bullet.She assigned me another room (204). It took 3 different tries of programming the key card for it to let me in. I walked up and down carrying all my stuff because I didn’t want to leave my valuables just sitting in the hallway. The elevator looked, sounded, and operated like it had seen better days. Decided to use the stairs afterwards instead. Inside, the room was the same as the other in terms of stains. This new one had failing or failed light bulbs that were never changed. The bedroom has such dim partially failing bulbs that I ended up switch some that worked better from the other fixtures. After my last room experience, I wanted to inspect the bed for bed bugs. I found none, but decided to sleep with all my closes on and on top of the sheets none the less.I don’t ever write reviews but this experience was warranted. You can say “you get what you paid for” and I generally abide by that. I decided to book this room because it was cheap <$60 for the night so i was willing to look pass many things. But cockroaches in a national brand hotel crawling around my food was not one of them. After reviewing other people’s experience with this hotel after the fact, it becomes obvious that the owner had others with the same roach complaint and did nothing. Comfort Inn as a national brand really does not have any quality control and allows operators to just do what they please. Shame on Comfort Inn and the owner!

Worst hotel experience of my life! The lobby was dirty. The entire hotel smelled of mold. Room only had a chair in living room area and it was covered in old dried food stuff. Carpet was heavily stained and ripped. Asked for a different room and was almost as bad. Checked out and went to a different hotel! Disgusting place. A flop house for sure!

This hotel was a disaster. No water, had to use pool water to flush the toilet. Filthy to the point that a cockroach was climbing up the wall.No staff available for hours at the front desk. No room phone for communication. Tried to call the manager for hours unsuccessfully. Management showed zero interest. Broken elevator. Missed breakfast on several days because they didn’t make it because lack of water (apparently they haven’t paid the bill? As the contiguous gas station had no problems with it - as we ended there to do our basic needs). A truly sad place to stay. ??

This hotel is horrible, staff isn't available when needed , when requesting clean towels, sheets they hardly have anything available, room services doesn't come by. Towels aren't as clean, nor are the sheets and they have stains on them when given. The elevator seemed like it had been broken for forever and claim like their going to fix it when they're not. They need more staff to better assist their guests. Shouldnt have to wait until the end of the day for cleaned towels and sheets. Will never stay here again!!

Elevator broken. Airport shuttle does not run to pick up before 5 pm. Stops at 10 pm and does not drop off unless you book with the front desk the night before. !!!!Cheap hotel but add $25 to get to/from airport. Stay at a better hotel that has 24 hr free shuttleRoom clean enough. Probably stay somewhere else

This was the most disgusting hotel. From the minute we walked in we knew we should have walked out. The lobby smelled and has stained chairs. The elevator button is broken and it felt unsafe.The room has roaches, was dirty and had mold all through the shower. After seeing the room we asked for a refund, which they said would happen once they spoke to the manager, so we’re still waiting on that.Ended up at the Best Western across the street which is newly remodeled and was the same price. Much better!DO NOT STAY HERE!

I had reservations with a Comfort Suites. I checked out early because the rooms were infested with roaches, sheets were filthy. I checked out on 7/5. The lady at the front desk told me I had a credit balance and the money would be refunded back to me after the manager reviewed it. And that any further reservations I had there would be canceled with no charge.I’ve not heard anything from the hotel management, and it has been over a week. Then on 7/8/23, my bank account was charged $95, and I wasn’t even there! I’ve contacted the choice hotels customer relations now 3 times. They told me they would give me points because of my compliant about the roaches, but can’t do anything about the money. Very disappointed and upset. Terrible, terrible customer service!

i have stayed at plenty of budget friendly hotels, but this one is was clearly not maintained.i stayed for 3 nights, but would not stay again- lobby had crumbs all over the carpet all 4 days- “gym” was not cleaned (same funyum bag and crumbs from day 1 to 4 on the bench in pic)- elevator call button broken (i would rather take the stairs than stick my finger into that)- like others have said, my room also had a removed smoke detector- light outside my room was on all night… normally it would be okay with a blackout curtain, but the curtain rod didnt cover the whole window

Room smelled like smoke. Breakfast did not have juice or milk. Very low price and good location to airport. Does have airport shuttle during certain hours.

Outside looks fine once inside though is a different story. This place is in major need of attention. Elevator smells like urine and mildew .Button on 1st floor Elevator call is missing/broken but still work to call Elevator. Rooms or at least the room I stayed in is in need of repair/replacement of several fixtures like missing smoke detectors vent covers and even toilet seat that was cracked and pinched butt every time you sat on it. Had 2 tvs in room but only a single remote also sofa bed did not have any sheets or pillows that usually come with room in closet. Breakfast was not great either. We usually all eat breakfast but only my youngest ate this time. warm items mainly sausage was still cold. When you walk in for breakfast you expect a bright welcoming dining area it was dark and dim. I would have to say in all this is the WORST Comfort Suites I have EVER stayed in !! I will never again stay at this location.
