My family and I have been visiting Houston Family Eyecare for our eye care needs for several years and could not be happier with the level of service provided. From the moment I walk in, the staff is welcoming and professional. Dr. Kim Nguyen always takes the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of my exam and answer all my questions, making me feel at ease throughout the process.
I highly recommend Houston Family Eyecare, especially Dr. Nguyen, to anyone in need of top-quality eye care.

Not impressed, not ever going back. You would think optometrist would be mindful of people that can't see or hear. They talk to fast, and to softly to be understood, and they are unaware that if I can't see them talk, I can't hear them. Was hurried, rushed, poor communication from staff, completely wasted visit from my perspective and didn't get anything out of it other than a prescription for I don't even know what with no further explanation. No effort, no compassion, terrible customer service. Hate everything about this appointment.

I love my new contacts. The doctor is so wonderful. She really knows her stuff. I can see better than I have ever seen before and I’ve been wearing glasses since I was six years old.

*** Very Bad Experience with the Receptionist ***We used to come here for the 2-3 years until last week when my wife tried to book for an appointment to a Receptionist named Faith (if i remember correctly). At first she booked for myself and then she called back to add herself and my daughter.She had an awful and horrendous experience.She said that the receptionist was Very Rude, sounded uneducated and not very professional. She spoke like she was answering her own phone and does NOT really care and does not go the extra mile to help. I called later that afternoon to cancel and spoke to this receptionist my wife mentioned and true enough her manners was unprofessional, unethical on responding and I felt that she was just there for a paycheck and the attitude was really bad.Since our last few visits here were cordial, respectful and nice, we were really shocked on how she handles appointments when we called last week.We decided to go another route... went to Target near 1960 and they were really nice...Amazing Eye CareI just feel bad for the Doctors in case they do not know that this is happening or maybe it happened to others.P.S.I actually called yesterday and unfortunately spoke to the receptionist to speak to the doctor but she was with a patient. I was hoping to address it to her. I gave my info to call me back and they never called back. Tsk tsk.

We have been coming here for a few years and always have a good experience, no matter what doctor we are scheduled with. We never feel rushed and the doctors and front end staff are always very personable and friendly.

Dr. Kim Nguyen prescribed lenses with a prism for my computer glasses. The result was a great improvement over my previous computer glasses. Very grateful to Dr. Kim Nguyen.

I wasn’t going to leave a review originally. I booked an appointment here for convenience as they are open weekends and they have good reviews. They had trouble verifying I had insurance for vision with the information I provided. I cancelled my appointment since they couldn’t verify my insurance and decided I can just wait and visit my usual location for my eye exam. I have never had issues with verifying my insurance with other companies but not a big deal. I went ahead and booked with another location for my eye exam where I normally go and now I am receiving a call that my insurance is showing that I already booked an eye exam with my vision provider at this location. Which is odd because I was under the impression that they could not verify I have vision included on my insurance therefore I wasn’t able to use my insurance at this location.

Dr Ahuja is an amazing Optometrist. She was thorough and informative and educated me on new lens technology. I have worn the same contact lens brand for 15 years and they were drying out my eyes. My eyes were always red and irritated as a result. She suggested more advanced technology and it has made a huge difference. No more red, irritated eyes! I feel so fortunate to have found this wonderful doctor. Thank you so much!

I’ve had good eye doctors in the past but my experience here showed me what a great eye doctor is like. Doctor Abuja was Extremely informative and focused on providing the best service.
