Easiest process ever! Made the reservation online, paid for the rental online and received my storage unit number with instructions on entering the security gate and a map of the property to find my unit. The interior and exterior property appears to be well kept and it felt safe.

I looked up this storage facility online and all the information required was easily understood. I also stopped by their office to reconfirm the space availability, and the gentleman who assisted me was extremely pleasant. The whole process was seamless.

UPDATE: Extra Space Storage was so concerned about my issue that they had a random robot post a "please call us so we can resolve your issue" reply. Rest assured, it's just the retail location number. The retail location where my complaint originated before I was passed off to 6 different people over a few months. The manager at the retail location basically confirmed there was nothing he could do if I was already passed off to that many people...and then basically confirmed that it's an automated post to make it seem like they care. If you care about your stuff or doing business with an ethical company, stay away.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: We used this storage space for a few months and had a nice wooden piece that we chose to store here. This ended up being a big mistake as it came out damaged. It looked like the stain had melted off due to heat in what was supposed to be a climate controlled unit. We let them know immediately and sent pictures from the day we stored the item and the day we took it out. They directed us to file a claim with the insurance they sold us which I already told them was not going to work since it's such a limited policy and doesn't cover them not keeping their buildings appropriately climate controlled. We still tried--two different times under their direction. We got denied the first time and then just didn't hear back the second time. They acted like they understood and would try to see how they could compensate us for the loss or pay to have the piece fixed. We were then led us down a wild goose chase that lasted for months where we got passed off from one manager to another to the 1-800 number and back to another manager and another. It was a complete waste of time and I regret ever using them. My recommendation is to take your money to a better company with some integrity. Storage units are a dime a dozen and this one proved to be a terrible mistake to use. Save yourself the heartache.
