This company charges more for senior citizens. Omnicare say they can because they can.

They would only send 2 weeks worth of doses at a time. We needed more for my mom for an out of town trip, because she was going to run out before the trip was over. They made it very difficult to obtain and ended up not sending doses for all the meds she was on, only some. Consequently, my mom ended up in the hospital for a week. We ended up moving her prescriptions to another pharmacy, but due to a shortage in one, we asked Omnicare of they could fill it and they refused to even consider doing it. Additionally, when we did the initial transfer, the new pharmacist advised that the Omincare rep was extremely rude. They didn't transfer all the meds, so I had to go back to the doctor to get her to re-prescribe the missing ones since Omnicare was being so uncooperative. I would never recommend Omincare, unless your loved one is to the point where they can no longer travel and are basically confined to the city they currently reside for the remainder of their life. In this limited scenario, their service may be convenient, especially if your loved one takes a lot of meds at different times of the day. Just keep in mind that the customer service SUCKS!
