My wife requested a refund for the use of the self-grooming station, and a supervisor shouted at her that she can't believe she would request a refund, and she can't believe we tried to wash our dog at her establishment.
We found a stray dog and attempted to adopt it. We attempted to wash the dog for the first time ever using your self-groom facility. Before entering the store I walked the dog in the doggy restroom area, and the dog used the restroom. On the way in the store, the dog urinated on the floor in 2 spots. I was embarrassed, so I found an associate and informed her of the accident, and asked her if I can use their mop to clean it up. The associate told me she didn't have a mop, and handed me a wet floor sign and asked me to put it where the urine was.
The dog, a full-grown German Shepherd, was extremely fearful of the water sprayer, and had a violent reaction to it. He attempted to attack the sprayer and bit me by accident in the process. He was loud and reactive, and we were not able to even wet the dog, much less wash him with the provided soap, or use the provided towels. I gave up after a short period, and asked my wife to request a refund since we didn't use the supplies.
The whole time I was attempting to wash the dog, an employee, a lady with very short hair, I didn't catch her name, was watching me and giving me dirty looks, as though I was intentionally trying to cause a problem in her store. When my wife requested a refund in a polite tone with NO ATTITUDE, the short haired lady attempted to shame her, and denied her request for a refund. With a very bad attitude, she loudly stated "I can't believe you would ask for a refund, your dog peed on the floor and you just left it there. I can't believe you tried to wash your dog here.” My wife did not argue the point of the refund, but the lady continued by saying that they must clean up the area, so they cannot refund our money. That's fine, and that's all she had to say. She didn't have to shame my wife. My wife was in tears when she returned to my vehicle, where I was waiting with the dog. I AM INFURIATED. That lady turned a really bad experience with a new dog into a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
I went back into the store when I saw my wife crying and told that lady that I did request a mop to clean up the accident. I guess she thought I was there to argue for a refund, but we were passed that, we're not going to make a big deal about $20, I was there to let her know she shouldn't treat people like that. She told me I was lying that I asked for a mop, and rudely continued arguing about a refund. She offered no apology for her behavior towards my wife.
As soon as we left I called store because in our haste to leave we left behind a product that we bought. I requested to speak to a supervisor, and when she was on the phone I explained the situation to her and made a complaint. I later found out that the supervisor I spoke to on the phone WAS EXACTLY THE SAME PERSON WHO SHAMED MY WIFE. She did not possess the quality of character to let me know that I was talking to the same person I had already spoken to before, she just deceptively pretended that she didn't know what I was talking about, and didn't offer any apology for the incident.
I will never shop at Petco again, and I will warn all of my pet-owning friends that they should do business elsewhere, or risk being exposed to a HORRIBLE PERSON. I can't believe Petco would hire a supervisor who has no notion of tact or customer service. This person should be demoted immediately until she can learn that when a customer requests a refund, the refusal should be polite and explanatory, not accusatory and shaming. There was a great opportunity there for this supervisor to at least help and provide support during the stressful situation instead of making the problem so much worse, even if a refund could n

This Petco location is absolutely fantastic! From the moment you walk through the doors, you're welcomed with warm smiles and a genuinely friendly atmosphere. The staff here go above and beyond to make you feel valued, whether you're just browsing or need help finding the best products for your furry friends.
One of the standout features of this location is its exceptional dog training program. My trainer, Lauren, has been nothing short of amazing. She is patient, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about helping dogs and their owners succeed. She has been working tirelessly to help me prepare my next service dog for the rigorous training ahead, ensuring he builds a strong foundation for the challenges he’ll face.
It’s rare to find a place where both you and your pet feel this supported, but this Petco delivers on every level. Whether you're here for training, supplies, or just a great experience, this location consistently exceeds expectations. Highly recommend!

Never buy saltwater livestock or corals from this place, when it was run by Chris everything was perfect but whoever is running the saltwater now is horrible. I gave them a shot with a shrimp and it died in 1 day, blame it on my water all you want but my tests came out perfect. A buddy of mine took the gamble about a week after with two clowns and over night all of his livestock was dead, all well established for months, dead overnight as well as the clowns. Will never buy from here again.

The staff at Petco in Atascocita are so warm, compassionate and caring and helped us through a very difficult day with our pet cat, Kiki, who passed away the same day. Beginning with Leticia at the reception desk, followed by Samira the store manager and vet tech, and ending with our phenomenal and loving vet, Dr. Ingrid Feder, the care and the compassion that not only our pet received but we as her humans who were emotionally trashed that day,, was nothing short of fabulous. If you are looking for a vet, I highly recommend Dr. Ingrid Feder and her staff ❤️

I got 2 syringes today and was paying cash. The cashier wanted my phone number and I told hom I don't have one. He put my product up on the counter so I asked him to put my 2 syringes in a bag and he said the bag would be 10 cents without the phone number. I told him "that is idiotic". -left without the bag... thought it was suppose to be for rewards not extortion. Shame on PetCo.
