Just a bit unprofessional. They charged me for 5 gallons to fill a partially full propane tank that holds max 4.6 gallons 17 dollars and change seems like way to much for 2 gallons on propane go across fm 1960 and get your propane from uhaul that's where I'm going next time.

Well I was shopping there when it was Dan’s and I only met him once and I really didn’t care for him but he seem to have a good staff and they were very helpful. Just like a little individual shop should be. Then Robs took over and I met Rob several times and like the guy. Liked his older experienced helpful customer service driven staff so I was pleased with the change. Overtime it became less and less older helpful customer driven people replaced by what looked like a bunch of misfits who refuse to move from around the counter. Don’t know where the other older guys went, I guess they were priced out of a job for cheaper labor. I walked in and asked for something and no one even moved, but they were kind enough to point and go it’s right there on the wall. Rob you think you can at least spend money to buy them matching T-shirts and pay them a dollar extra and they might move from around that counter. Parking lot was full so let’s say there’s 8 or 10 customers inside the store so how is there at the same time four or five employees hanging around the counter not moving. I saw in one of the comments about Rory, he was one of the good ones but I haven’t seen him in quite some time. So disappointment to see what it has become. Rob I understand your family has other stores so I’m sure you’re not too concerned about what you might be losing. The only advantage is you get to park up front and if you know exactly what you want and where it is go ahead and stop. I saw another review about the prices and agree that they are a little more expensive but it used to be about more than just the product. Very disappointing!

Very sad that the only reason we shopped here is because of my brother who introduced me to this store because he worked there.I will no longer be shopping here because today when my boyfriend went in the store three employees were sitting there gossiping with no customer service and talking badly about my brother name dropping and everything obviously they didn’t know that was my brother but I’m very disappointed in those three employees talking badly and gossiping in-front of customers.Imagine talking poorly of past employees that haven’t worked there in over a year while y’all are all sitting on your behinds not doing any work at all. That is just sad. Do better robs hardware.

Robs has been around for quite a while and has similar items to what ace hardware offers they can also refill propane canisters on site.

a little higher price but it's right here close, don't have to deal with all the people, and keyboard employees from the big stores. these people are willing to help but not press and for not so big of a store the selection is amazing, store is clean, people nice I go here often.

Horrible experience dealing with this company the customer service is pathetic. I Purchased a hacksaw by their employee recommendation that was never used and ended u not being needed for the project in the original condition as I received it and was refused the return because they said that it was used but yet the original packaging is completely in tact I’m not sure how someone could use a hacksaw without damaging the packaging? They were extremely rude and i sensed an extreme level of prejudice and racism they don’t even try to hide it. I will be posting this via social media and passing this story along to a few influencers and bloggers and they will absolutely get a lot of free promo behind this one because everyone is gonna know so i truly hope it was worth it to them to be cost the amount of future business and negative attention that hacksaw is gonna cost them

NOT A BUDGET PROJECT STORE.I normally prefer these smaller "hometown" style hardware stores versus the big chains. However, I am sad to report that the pricing here is worse than the big chains.The pricing may be great for nuts and bolts, but for any other item, it is ridiculous. A dryer vent duct work that normally costs me around $10 at most at Home Depots set me back double here (and that was the cheaper choice of products).Great personal staff, very friendly and a well laid out store. I get that times are tough and dealing with inflation, but personality isn't the only thing you are selling Rob's.I'm not sure why you think older products that have sat on shelves require a price hike but I can say that I will be taking my business elsewhere for the time being until those prices get put under control.I was limited to 2 items out of the 6 I came in for simply because I didn't want to blow every dollar I had in my wallet on some hobby projects. What should have been a total trip of $100 tops turned into a fraction of the list (2 items) for $70.Not cool, guys. Hope this helps.

Rob's is my first go-to place when I need something concerning hardware or repair around my house. The big box stores cannot come close to the customer service and the time saved by going to this great hardware store. The knowledge of the staff is unbelievable! So what, it may cost a few cents more, but the time saved looking for a parking place and then wondering around trying to find an item in a 5 acre store and then looking for someone who knows where it is makes going to Rob's a breeze! Yes I pay more because I want them to be there when I need them!! I would do 10 stars if I could!

First off friendly and very helpful staff. Love shopping here, they have hard to find or specialty items. Sells top quality and well known items. Bonus…if your in a rush your in and out fast too
