A special thank you to my fairy godmother Bonnie! Amazon lost my order 2 weeks before the Renaissance Festival, so I stopped by on my way to the fair for some black leather flats.
We discussed my concerns about swelling and heel slipping. She had me on my way in my new slippers with heel guards in less than 20 minutes as she knew I was eager to get to fair.
As for my glowing recommendation of the shoes…keep in mind first day of wear…13.5 miles later of walking and dancing on rocky uneven terrain in heat, humidity, and salty foods…no blisters, no pinch points, no foot pain at all!

The profession im in requires me to walk about 10.5 miles a day. SAS shoes have never let me down and the integrity of these shoes match the longevity, meaning they'll last a while. Sketchers,nikes, and other shoes of that caliber have lasted anywhere from 3 to 6 months from the wear and tear while SAS shoes last me over a year and a half before considering getting a new pair (after 2 pair of the tripad insoles and one pair of shoes). Are they expensive? Very. Can you get other shoes for cheaper? Absolutely. I would argue pound for pound, you're going to end up dishing out close to the same if your feet are your money makers. Im not so much giving this store a 5 but the brand in general. That being said, Ms. Dorothy was a blessing and gave tremendous service. She really is a great person and I wish her the best. I heard there's 3 things in life you should never go cheap on: your shoes, your bed, and tires. Get those SAS shoes. Your feet and body will thank you.

Customer service is top notch! Sabrina was super helpful and friendly. She helped me pick the perfect shoe and fitment for my needs. Their shoes aren't cheap, but neither is the quality. Time will tell for sure, but I am confident in my purchase!
