The Book Readers Venue is a woman veteran owned independent bookstore and a wonderful gem in the heart of downtown Humble, TX. It is a great local bookstore, a cozy spot, and an oasis to find black authors. The niche is romance and romantic suspense written by authors of color, with a small inventory of children's and non-fiction books also available. The owner and staff are very welcoming, extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The venue has a carefully crafted pseudo family atmosphere and a welcoming vibe. It is a cozy spot that literally brings back the love of books and is a stress reliever.

Stopped in our way to graduation party & were not disappointed. Store has an awesome, cozy vibe. The owner gave me recommendations based on books she’d read recently & books I’d enjoyed previously. Super excited to dive in! Will definitely come back when we are in town!
