I’ve been with this bank since like 2013 I think. Always been pretty good. The Sunday hours was a big selling point. It’s a drag and a huge disappointment that they don’t have Sunday hours or atms that accept deposits. Y’all need to work on that

I’ve had an account here for several years, and completely understand the law and policy whereby banks will hold a check. However, it is beyond absurd for a bank to hold a check after verifying on the phone with the issuer (State Farm) that it is a good check. Beyond. Absurd. Nice to know that even after a customer has experienced a significant loss, they still gouge out their usury (or float or whatever they call it so they can sleep at night).

I’ve been banking with this bank three years and it’s always a problem. I opened another account in September 2022 with my mother and I on the account now I was 12 hours away from home trying to put my mom to rest and they froze our account. Than I was told oh no worries bring in the death certificate than we will release the funds in 5/10 business days so I go in the bank today like hey it’s been over 10 days they gone tell me I must pay a lawyer again to get certain paperwork to have my funds released. So I have since buried my mother and now they still won’t release my money. Than when u want to withdraw your money they tell u you can only get so much due to we won’t have anymore money until Thursday. Everyone needs to be retrained evidently because one person will tell u one thing than when u come in person it’s different. I could understand if my mother opened the account but that’s not what happened I literally went in the bank with my power of attorney paperwork and they let me open an account in my moms name and add myself. Don’t waste your time going to this bank you will be very disappointed! Forgot to add the branch manager was there when I opened the account and ok it. So please don’t waste your time go else where!!!

Stormy is extremely unprofessional. Manipulated my friend into making account just to get a money order when she didn’t need to. When we went back they told us that she has to keep the account open for 90 days to avoid a $25 fee! There shouldn’t be a fee and she shouldn’t have been cornered to make a bank account! When we called back and spoke to the assistant manager he told us that he’ll see if he can waive the fee, but had to talk to the branch manager first. When he called us back he said the only person that could close the account is the employee that opened the account, which was a LIE! We had to go to another location just to get the account closed and have the fee waived. The manager at the other location said they have to deal with this all the time. She’s manipulating people into making accounts just to meet quotas. Absolutely ridiculous and something needs to be done about her!
