“They price the grooming for our dog at $53 then they add on a scissors fee of $7 and a materials fee of $6! Then they ask if I want to leave the groomer a tip. I said sure if you knock off those ridiculous fees. Petco is ripping people off with these fees.”

“This was my first experience grooming my dog. I booked her appointment online and that was no problem and easy. However, I was given an approximate cost of $50 which I understand is due to Petco not knowing exactly the size, length of hair and etc. What they do not include for your information prior to your visit is an additional cost for "sharpening the scissors" ($7.00) and material fee ($5.99). It would be nice for customers to know about these extra fees prior to visting for a grooming service. I did not see this information on the site when I was making the appointment nor on the numerous emails and texts they sent me to confirm the appointment and make sure I didn't forget about it. They could use to be more transparent about their "extra" fees.”
