I was looking to build a 7prc for a “do it all” rifle. I had shopped every option, but I am so glad that I went with APR. Jimmy and John provided excellent customer service. They are very knowledgeable and helped me with answering questions and making decisions on my build without making me feel rushed on the phone. This rifle took 6 months, and boy was it worth the wait. I built a Maverick with an Alpine Hunter stock and topped it with a Leupold VX5 with the CDS. I sighted the rifle in at 100yds (sub 0.5moa groups) and shortly after got to put it through its paces at 300-600 yards (I am a deer hunter that normally doesn’t shoot beyond 250yds). This rifle shot a bullseye at every distance. My buddies and I were impressed to say the least. If you are on the fence about spending a little more for a custom build than a traditional rifle I encourage you to go for it. Use Robert and the guys at APR. You will not regret it and you’ll have a family heirloom of a gun. Remember “only accurate rifles are interesting”!

Ordered a custom Altitude from APR earlier this year. The team over there worked with me to get it a little bit earlier than expected so I could take it on a hunt that I just got back from.Overall, their communication is top notch, and they're going to work with you and make sure you're getting everything you want out of your rifle.The rifle itself is phenomenal. I was shooting 1/2" groups at 200 yards after about 12 rounds, so even better than 1/2 MOA.The only issue you're going to have ordering a rifle from APR is that you're going to have such a great gun that you won't be able to blame it when you miss - all on you.

The customer service from the guys at Alamo is the best you can possible ask for. When you call they answer right away and are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Not only do they answer but they don’t rush off the phone like you’re an inconvenience. If you email them they get back with you quickly.As far as the rifle and build goes, I have been nothing but happy with it. The build quality is absolutely top notch. I’ve had mine since 2018 and it can still shoot 1 ragged hole at 100 yards. This rifle can far outshoot my skill level.Looking forward to working with the team at Alamo again soon to get my second custom rifle from them. No custom rifle shop I would recommend more than the team at Alamo.

I have had two of their rifles and both are great shooting guns. Service and communication are excellent. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a high quality rifle.

I went into Alamo Precision Rifles after having some issues with factory guns. I got tired of it and decided it was time for a full custom. I called ahead and spoke with John before hand to make sure they had something in stock for me. I showed up and found what I was looking for. John was very knowledgeable and helpful through out the process. There was also a super awesome guy behind the counter whose name was I think Jimmy, between him and John they answered every single one of my ridiculous questions and even gave me a shop tour. I had them mount my scope before I left which did turn out to be crooked due to my turret not being level. No fault of there’s. Straightened the scope up. Went to the range for a barrel break in and shot .75 moa right off the bat. After break in this 6.5 PRC will shoot .5 MOA with factory ammo all day long. I can’t say enough good things about the guys at APR. I will definitely be having them build me a 6mm Creedmoor soon!

About to place my order but so far I just gotta say.. these guys are beyond friendly and professional. I have called many times just to ask questions about precision rifles and gear and anything about PRS and it doesn’t matter who answers the phone, they will literally talk to me and shoot the wind until I literally have nothing else to say. It’s so welcoming. You can tell they enjoy the subject matter of what they do and their profession. Since leaving the Marines Corps Severn years ago, I have not seen many people whom make such effort to be professional. But these gentlemen do every time I constant them.

Had these guys do a full custom build a few years back and I’m chomping at the bit to have them do another one. I brought in my own chassis that I got from Mcree Precision and told them exactly what I wanted and they got the rifle done in just a few weeks with better than expected craftsmanship. I will eventually be in there ordering a full custom long action big brother to go with my 6.5 Creedmore. This rifle shoots sub .25 groups at 200 yards with no non existent recoil shooting factory 147 grain Hornady ammo at 2750 feet per second. With well over 2,000 rounds through this barrel.

Ordered a rifle and had it sent to them for cerakote work. Sent in some model pictures of how I wanted it and they replicated it perfectly. Could not be more happy with how it turned out. I live in Missouri and dealing with staff over the phone was great, all very helpful. They are now my go to cerakote business. Thanks again!
