This company is a complete scam. The car they gave me was disgusting inside and out, smelled awful, and had barely half a tank of gas. They lied straight to my face saying the gas station and car wash were closed. The staff was lazy, rude, and more interested in shoving overpriced insurance down my throat than doing their job. The windshield had two cracks and they still refused to swap the car. Two hours into driving the maintenance required light came on. When I called to change the drop-off location Avis demanded I pay $800 even though the new location was only about a two-hour drive away and in the same state. This place rents out unsafe junk, overcharges for everything, and will lie to you without hesitation. Avoid them at all costs unless you want to be ripped off and put in danger.

Extremely disappointing experience with both management and customer service.
I reserved a one-day rental of a luxury vehicle (same-day pick-up and drop-off). When I arrived, they didn’t have the luxury class I reserved, but instead of adjusting the price for the downgrade, they charged me the full luxury rate anyway.
At drop-off, despite returning the vehicle with a full tank of gas, I was told the fuel gauge didn’t show “Full.” I believe this was likely a defect with the vehicle’s gauge, as I had just filled it completely. The attendant initially said he’d charge me $10. I reluctantly agreed, wanting to wrap things up, but he then changed it to $46 without explanation.
To avoid the charge, I refueled again, squeezing in less than a gallon. Even after returning, the attendant insisted the tank still wasn’t full and refused to check it with me. Both he and the manager simply said, “Gas gauges don’t lie,” and dismissed me with, “Take it up with customer service.”
This experience showed a clear lack of integrity and professionalism — especially blaming customers for what seemed to be a faulty fuel gauge. I won’t be renting here again, and I caution others to be wary of these questionable practices.

Not a bad experience, but just so everyone knows: If you return your vehicle and have any additional charges, they will refund your original money and then charge you the new amount without telling you they are doing that. This means that if you are someone who doesn't keep a big balance in your checking account (as no one should) there will suddenly be a big balance for scammers to target. I don't have a complaint about this location. They were great to deal with. I just have a problem with no one telling me about the billing practices that they had no idea would affect me. Great location and customer service.

I will not recommend this place.!!! The Old man is very rude, dishonest and a fraud!!! He even tell you do not come in at 5:50pm to drop off the car because he said thats his time to leave and you will not get any service after 5:50pm!!!

The guy we talked to was just very rude tried to give us some sorry electric vehicle we don't want those we didn't reserve an EV I reserved a Chevy impala then he wanted to charge me extra for getting the car I reserved

Usually have no problem renting from Avis. This time though, disappointed.Reservation the night before, for over a week online. I picked my pick up time Sunday Noon, with later openenings available..The confirmation, fine print included, said nothing about closing at Noon. I arrived shortly after, the business was closed, locked lights off. Terrible inconvenience.Called today, no cars available and the only suggestion, since prepaid, was to call around to other Avis locations, and would have to call customer service for the 1 day refund. The clerk was professional however not helpful in being able to check sytem availability elsewhere, but the other locations would be able to call up my confirmation number.Terrible inconvenience , further distance, time, etc.

They let you do your entire rental set up then ask for your social. For a CREDIT CHECK. TO RENT A VEHICLE. Are you kidding me? Never again.

Came to pick up a prepaid rental and was denied because their system doesn’t have a chip reader and they claimed they were unable to manually enter card info and no way to use the card I had booked with. Absurd in 2022 when I can pay with my phone or watch at most places.
