Absolute thieves!!! Having to deal with unfounded smoke and pet hair claims. Really??? No one smokes or had a pet in this vehicle. Very nasty and greedy credit card charges. Very nasty tactics!

a complete joke. first rental there was ridiculous too, but decided to chance it again. had made a minivan reservation 2 months in advance for pickup Saturday morning at 9am. was called and asked if i could come closer to 11 so they’d have a vehicle for me. get there at 11:30 and no van. he can’t tell me when a car will be there (the location closes at noon) or what car is en route. told me i can “call customer service.” no one could tell me what vehicle was being sent nor what time it would be there.
after calls to both the proprietor of the location and customer service (made by me, not the Budget employee) no one could tell me. no one could explain why nor was there any apology. was verbatim told, by more than one person “we dont have cars, can’t control it”
was offered a 15 passenger van. 😑😑😑
after a complete and utter disregard and waste of our time, i called customer service again and was able to transfer pickup to the airport. had been trying to avoid that and the associated taxes/fees, but after the debacle at this joke of a location, we decided it was the only option.
I can not emphasize enough to avoid this joke of a location at any cost. Budget/Avis should be embarrassed.

The big black dude is very rude!!! He didn’t greet me when I walked in to accompany my mother. But greeted the woman that came in after. He was very unpleasant in demeanor. My mom returned car and he said smelled like smoke. She doesn’t smoke, nor does she hang with people who partake in that activity. Then he didn’t tell us that we have to return car before 2:30pm charging her an extra day! We will be contacting corporate for these outrageous charges and unpleasant, rude customer service. WOULDN’T RECOMMEND.

Absolutely terrible experience. Only had Minivans and the teller was unprofessional and dressed in a t-shirt and and jeans. When I dropped the car off they took forever and we’re slow despite me telling them I was in a hurry. Will never rent from here again.

Guy made me write down car smoke smell on the receipt. When I realized the car smelled horribly like marijuana and had burn marks on the roof. I went back in and said that's not a smoke smell that's the smell of an illegal substance for which I could get detained and held up. He pointed to the paper and said just show them the receipt and it will be fine. Last time I use budget

Used this location several times. Reservation booked months ahead. Car type booked never available. This time I booked a Camry or similar. They tried to downgrade me to a Carola at the same rate. Ended up being charged $13 more daily for a truck. I feel if u have 1 car, its not what I reserved, Budget should absorb the difference. Truck received the change oil light was on and the windshield fluid light was on. Was told by Budget...WE COULD PURCHASE THE FLUID. They dont have it there. The oil light, we were told to drive a bit, it would reset. No it didnt. Ended up at the Dodge dealership. Waited 2 hours to get it reset. The vehicle had not been cleaned well. Bug splatter all over the front of the truck. Animal hair in seats. I love animals, dont get me wrong but Budget advised if animal hair in vehicle it a $250 cleaning fee. Noone cleaned the vehicle. I usually make sure the vehicle is cleaned like its brand new when returned. Not this time. It will be cleaned to just like I received it. I wont pick up a vehicle at this location EVER again. I love Budget but not Budget in Hurst. Not a good experence.

Rented a car for my wife while her car was being repaired. When we arrived, the only vehicles available had torn tires. They sent us to the Irving where they gave us a car with a flat tire. Both vehicles were filthy inside. They were unwilling to provide a working vehicle. We had to take the car ourselves and have the tire fixed. We'll never use Budget again.

The only reason 1 star was given is because I couldn’t hit anything lower. This customer service was first thee sign that I should of went some place else. The guy answering the phones answer like he was answering his home phone. Then over the phone he could have told me that I would need documents prior to arriving to the location. The car was noisy. Seem like the tires are on backwards. The inside location stinks. I will never be back. Enterprise will sometimes say don’t worry about the gas. It was sencond line to half and they wanted to charge me $30 per gallon. I snatched the keys and hurried to fill. Was too busy rushing to bring back before I was charged $40 for 1 hour. Yeah seems as if the customer service is not overriding with their money! Wow!

don’t which location but you have a driver that nearly hit 2 cars, tailgating every car in front of him, and was going almost 80 on a 55 with the license plate of 3GB667. whatever you guys are selling or offering if this is how you allow your drivers to behave i wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. he tried to give me a dirty glare after he realized we took a picture of the license plate most likely. do better and teach your employee how to properly drive a company vehicle.

Submitting the request for a rental was easy enough online same day. Went to pick up the rental but was told that I didn't have a reservation. I asked that they check again and then they found it.Got into the car pretty quickly. Car was in good shape, but was about the ugliest color ever for a car. Some may like it, but the kids hated it. Whatever. :). Called it Colonel Mustard. Car did have an odor though, reminiscent of a vape/old smoke smell. Car drove well had some nice features. No a/c in back though.Returning the car. Did the return pretty quickly, but I was informed of a cleaning charge for excess dirty on the floors. Pictures attached. Was dirt on them when I got it, but whatever. I shook the carpets off and he accepted that. I'm certain he's only doing what he was trained, so I can't be mad at that. He was a nice guy for sure.I would actually recommend oddly enough, because it was a quick turnaround for the rental, the guy was nice, the price was good and other than a couple complaints, it was fine. If you want high end, this is not your place... One last note though, there wasn't a high pressure sale for insurance, which I declined AND when I brought it back, he didn't try to make out that there was damage that wasn't there before. Honest guy. Same one that gave me the car and I returned it to.Ah, and the place is in a strip center, and the inside is pretty dated.

DIN RENT HERE! They steal money from you. Never gave me my deposit back and act like I’m the problem. I’ve called this location, customer service, and it’s been 10 days. There we zero issues upon returning the car. Proof showing it was never returned to my account in picture.
