Very dangerous place for a 55-year-old grandfather reliving his 5th or 6th childhood (in excuse for his grandson) but seriously they have a great selection of Gundam models including Master Grade and Some Perfect Grade which Is what I am looking for. And have the tools, supplies and paints to make your nest masterpiece.

Unlike my experience with Horizon Hobby, Hobby Town has been great! Leon has been very helpful. Not just with my purchases, but he has given very good advice and he took care of my local club membership. The prices aren't any higher than ordering on line so I will patronize the store in person for all needs

Something for everyone. Lots of games, puzzles, blocks, and crafts. Exciting collection of vintage aircraft kits. Very nice and helpful staff.

Of all the surviving shops in the metroplex, this is the most "old school" legit shop! RC planes everywhere hanging from the ceiling. Model rocket section with good variety. Some slot cars and even telescopes! Well stocked in traditional RC airplane and car accessories. Leon the store manager is a true hobbies and his store reflects that. Reading some of the old reviews it's obvious the store has come a long ways. Everyone who works here is courteous and amazing. Great paint and model section with lots of vintage kits and the latest releases. Small but high quality Airsoft section. Games, kites, toys, and Collectables round out a fun place to visit. Just minutes from DFW airport..... Another cool thing is that they said they can price match online items!!! That's a win! A must stop for any DFW area visit!!!

Hobby Town in Hurst was awesome. Had exactly the light kit I was looking for for my TRX4. Great staff and very knowledgeable, as they went the extra mile to moke sure I got the right part. Great customer support!!!

Very enjoyable place to go no matter what you’re into. From RC cars and plane to miniatures and all the craft supplies. The owner is a genuinely good guy too.

Went by on 10/10, was greeted at the door and the employee walked me to the item(s) Ineeded. Excellent price and service, I will be Christmas shopping at Hobbytown for sure!

I'm not sure what's up with the previous reviews. Who knows, maybe this location has changed? But this is by far the best HobbyTown I've been to. I recently got back into RC trucks and the staff at this place was EXTREMELY helpful and answered all my questions. Best part is, they didn't make me feel like an idiot for asking (what I'm assuming to them) completely obvious questions. Instead of being money hungry, they actually talked me into a less expensive model that saved me money in the long run. I was going to go with a brushless Traxxas for about $600 and I was talked into the brushed ARRMA. It has everything I could ask for and more. And when I showed up 24 hours later looking for another battery and better charger, he showed me a huge selection but ultimately asked what I needed now and what I was looking for in the future and I settled on a Prodigy 610EZ for again, less money than anticipated. These guys here are INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and are in it for the hobby, not the price tag. This location just gained a lifelong customer. Keep in mind too, I pass 3 other hobby stores on my way to this one. They're great!

Return policy is no returns on open boxes, yet I baught a telescope that was opened at one time, the lens tube was scratched where the mounting screws go to, I'm stuck with it now even though someone else had used it.If they did return it, store credit only. I want to help small businesss, but returns for a full refund was made for Cases like this.
