Got my brakes done at the end of April this year. They've squeaked since we had them done and my husband brought it in after a couple weeks and Jack said they just do that. Well, now they've begun grinding and my husband pulled off the tire to look at it. Yep, basically no brake pad left and the rotor looks awful. We paid for rotors to be replaced and both sets of brakes plus labor, of course. Either they didn't actually replace the pads or they used the cheapest possible ones available and charged me top dollar. It's been less than six months and this should not be how they look. Hopefully they did the other repair as they should have because this certainly wasn't done well at all. It makes me even more upset that they didn't even look at it when my husband brought it in to ask about the continued squeaking! Also, I am sooooo super easy on my brakes, so this isn't a me problem.

If you have car trouble you need to bring it to Jack, Carmello and their team. They take the time to treat you right while they take care of your vehicle at fair prices. No upselling no false promises just honest work in a reasonable time frame. I brought my Yukon XL in for engine work and they made sure it was done and ready before the deadline they gave. I have been to multiple shops and it's always the same they tell me I need all kinds of extra work beyond what im there to get done. Jack and his team listen and do what you ask be done. I WOULD ADVISE CAUTION REGARDING THE 4.4- STAR REVIEW!
I recently visited Jack’s automotive with my 2017 Audi Q3, Unfortunately, it was not the best experience. My vehicle had been experiencing issues, Including sudden drops in speed from 75 to 25 mph within minutes, Accompanied by shaking, loss of power and difficulty controlling the steering wheel. I informed Jack of these issues. Car was at the shop for five days, given the holiday season, I Assumed they were busy. So, I refrained calling to avoid rushing them. I wanted them to take their time to diagnose the issue with my car. Having not received a status update. My husband and I chose to visit the shop. Upon entering, Jack shared the diagnostic test conducted did not identify any issues with my car. With the GAS CAP, being ultimately the source of the problem. We received an invoice for $279.83.
LABOR: $156, PARTS: $108.20 HAZMAT: $7.80. Parts being the gas cap,of course. However, after picking up my car a couple days later, The same issue recurred on Highway 183 while driving to Dr. appointment almost causing an accident. My husband and I contacted Jack and informed him of the terrible situation, and he agreed that we could return it for further examination. My thoughts, “ WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO FIND & REPAIR THE SECOND TIME, THAT YOU COULD NOT FIND & REPAIR THE FIRST TIME?” How could I feel at ease dropping it off a second time, especially, after being charged $108.20 for a GAS CAP that is available on Amazon for $20.00, available at the Audi dealership for $42.82. In my opinion, Jack’s Auto Repair lacks integrity, was an unproductive experience and a poor use of resources.

I love Jack's Auto. They have checked out various problems on multiple cars over the last 20 years. They are the most honest mechanics shop I have ever dealt with. Very quick to diagnose, will tell you whether they can fix it, and will tell you your best option regardless.

I'm so grateful my friend recommended Jack's!! I was super nervous taking my vehicle in somewhere for repairs. I'm a single momma and have had really awful experiences in the past at other places/mechanics. Jack was kind and patient with me when I was nervously rambling about the history of my vehicle. He took notes and took my concerns seriously. He didn't try to sell me stuff I don't need or anything like that which was so refreshing. His team went above and beyond! Fair prices, honesty and transparency, actually cares about his customers, solid repairs... it's a little bewildering to have such a positive experience with this stuff!! I was STRESSING before today and right now I'm just so grateful. Thank you, Jack!!!
