“I've been shopping here for weekend supplies for a few years now. Their selection is always great & easy to find something new with the help of staff - taking a guided risk, as it were. Every associate there has proven time & again to have great insight on what fits my desired flavour profile.
I'm greeted warmly at every visit & staff keeps engaged with each patron. While they can't stock everything, they've always been open to ording something out of the ordinary if it's available through their inventory suppliers. Not long ago I was looking for a very specific Irish Whiskey that was ceasing production. While they didn't have it at their particular location, the team member helping me checked possible stock in other locations, going so far as to call the other stores to insure that it was, indeed on hand & held aside for me. Through their efforts, I was able to find what may have been the last seven bottles in Fort Worth!
Don't hold my toes to the fire if I'm mistaken, but to generally seems their prices are often five to ten percent lower than other stores in my area. I also appreciate that they have a Veterans discount but be ready to show credentials such as a VA card, Veteran qualifier mark on Texas ID or other similar forms of recognition.
I wholeheartedly recommend Specs as a great business with good value & top notch people staffing their stores. I've been to a handful of other locations & had a nearly identical experience. I contine to be impressed though they don't carry my top favourite cigar - hard to win one every single possible metric, after all.”
