The owners are very responsive. Willing to show you behind the scenes without asking. Explain the processes and cars they are working on.

I have started using Mid Cities in 1999. They have done body work, electrical, transmission, and various other jobs. It has always turned out better than I anticipated. More than I expected, better than I wanted. Jim actually traveled to me to install a small non important (small) part that someone had forgot. He didn’t need to, but that impressed me. The level of what he and his staff were willing to do. That wasn’t the last time he has done more than I expected. Very happy with service.Services: Transmission

Called in asking if they had time to take a a look at my car and apparently a 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT isn’t Classic enough for them to work on he said they only work on classic and show cars before I hung up the phone I even confirmed by saying “so y’all don’t work on pontiacs?” And he said no which was confusing whenever the only reason I had called was because according to their reviews they had worked on a trans am and a firebird before which are both also Pontiac classicsNothing negative to say about their work because I didn’t get the chance to experience it just kinda disappointed since there isn’t many classic repair shops in my area

I have only just dropped my Duster off to get worked on, but I am giving them 5 stars simply on the most important aspect to any auto shop.... communication. They ask you specifically what you want done, give you straight answers and communicate with you the whole time. It's a far cry from other shops I've dealt with in the past. I look forward to dealing with them in the future.

I've been taking my 68 Firebird here for about a year now. They have done a great job with fixing the timing of the fuel injection system and timing, plus a few small things. The cost is a little high but so far the work is quality.

I had them replace the sail panel on my Trans am. GM used glue that caused the paint to bubble. The gaps on what they installed couldn't possibly be much work. On the front by the T-tops, the gap is huge. And on the back, it barely clears the bag glass. Jim was indignant and his wife was worse. I wouldn't take a Tonka to the people. They charged 3 times what another shop (B&B) quoted.
