I usually go thrifting twice a week. This was my favorite thrift store because everything used to be organized by size and the prices were low and we could do exchanges if something didn’t fit. I’m so sad that they sold the company to a large corporation from California. The prices went up and you can no longer return items and the clothes are not organized anymore. So frustrating when they take a good thing is make it horrible. Hope they get rid of this new corporation.

As a former employee I know that going to corporate gets you no where, but also feel this needs to be posted here for anyone to see. While shopping today I was approached by a customer (now the second one) that was told by a Production employee I moved to another state, as well as very untrue statments about incidents that occured between she and I while working there. Ones that are all on record, camera and office audio, and that were reported to both Managers and all Supervisors. They chose to do nothing and as an employee, I had to accept that. However, it now has become defamation of my character, and is so incredibly inappropriate for an employee to share or be allowed to share on a sales floor. This girl is spreading malicious lies and really is only hurting Texas Thrift by doing so. I've now had to personally reach out to friends/customers I made while working there and let them know what is and has happened. I've been shopping there almost 30 yrs, and poured my heart into that place as an employee for two. Now to be approached by customers while shopping as a customer to ask me what happened, and hear these lies is quite upsetting. Corporate should know this current employee is now making them feel uncomfortable too.

Used to be great, but prices went up because of new registers that look like self check out but aren't. Also there was a manager talking to his employees as if they were lesser.

It use to be our all-time favorite places to go for years. It was an awesome place for young mothers with babies up to two the three years old. Now they mix all their clothes for those ages together. I asked why- said new owners wanted it that way. People from all around used to go for how organized they were in this area and now they aren’t at all and it is self check out. Those that have mobility issues or want to buy a lot or have kids with them, this makes it very hard now. So sad this was an awesome place to come for years and now with new ownership it’s not. Workers were very nice though- no complaints there.

I believe the new owners are sinking the ship. No dressing rooms, no refunds, no in store credit, no returns. Pricing is no longer Thrifty. You can buy new for less.
I can see the defeated look on the faces of the monotone employees.

I used to LOVE this thrift store but now the prices are so insane it’s not even worth it. Yeah you can find good clothes but be prepared to pay $10-40 for USED CLOTHES it’s actually insane.

Wouldn't let me make a half star but there is no fitting rooms there are people who would like to change in private to try on stuff that might fit them then everything has changed from there old spots . But why would they have people put on clothes over there own clothes because how would you know if they fit right then changing in front of everyone no one wants to do that because sometimes it's embarrassing mostly if your in a wheelchair trying to do it or have a knee scooter because of a broke ankle . I'm complaining to the upper people about this because that is not right . Then a worker said they don't speak English but they literally just spoke in English.

I come here every so often for random things or for items for my infant. Apparently there's new owners or management and they've completely changed everything. They're trying a new layout... okay, guess we can used to that... but the infant section is all jumbled and mixed in with other stuff. Girls hats are over in the boy infant area. The clothes are no longer by kind and size; it's all together.
The main reason I came here was because of the organization. Now there is NONE! I might as well go to Goodwill or some other place with everything mixed in together. It's completely inconvenient so I won't be coming here as often anymore at all.

Don’t go here. There’s better thrift options. They took away the dressing rooms so you have to leave it up to fate that the clothes fit you. And if they don’t well u lost money cause they won’t even let u exchange anything anymore. Should be called Texas Theift….go to thrift giant. You’ll have better luck there.

Heads up people. . .this place was sold off to another company. They are changing their policies. . .after today, no more returns at all so if you buy something that doesn't fit, good luck. . .you're stuck with it (and NO fitting rooms are going to be opened). Also, they're doing away with the Tuesday Senior Citizen's Day specials. Sad that a "charity" company is this greedy. I have totally stopped shopping there and am now a dedicated customer of Twice Blessed. Just thought people needed to know what is going on with this business.

It was a very good place, it's a shame they messed everything up and it became a mess without ordered sizes.

I used to love shopping here all the time for my clothes, shoes, and cosplays, but recently, theyve raised their prices so much that it's cheaper to go to goodwill. They have such a large variety, but at $20 a shirt, im not gonna be shopping here again. Its really disappointing. Theyre getting this stuff for free and charging so much for just a single piece of clothing. Its supposed to be a thrift store, not a retail store.

Very disorganized and cramped with how close the aisles are. No dressing rooms and places to sit down to try on shoes or anything. Half of the staff was just standing by a door and ignoring customers. I don’t know about you, but I would like to get to try on thrifted clothes before spending a surprisingly expensive amount for a THRIFT store.

This is Texas THRIFT not Plato’s, Ross, or TJ max. I found the prices to be way too high for items that are used. May as well go to a retail store and buy brand new stuff for the prices they have.

I’ve been going here since I moved to Bedford a year ago so I have enjoyed it quite a bit and thrift very often for my son who outgrows clothing fairly quickly. Well today I walked in and the layout was COMPLETELY different but none of the signs on the ceiling matched where the actual sections they’re supposed to belong to. The kids section is an absolute nightmare now, I chose this place because it’s one of the few thrifts that had the kids section organized by size.. well not anymore! All of it is now jumbled together, small, large, whatever. It’s such a bummer because now it makes it much more overwhelming and a waste of time. Also, why in the world are incomplete Halloween costumes so expensive along with kids toys that have been chewed up and spit out?
I’m so bummed.
