My dog is on a prescription for seizure medication and was running extremely low. Tried to get it filled at the pharmacy but they said he needed a new prescription from his vet which happens to be this banfield. I called 3 times and the pharmacy also called multiple times with NO answer and none of our calls were returned. MY DOG RAN OUT OF SEIZURE MEDICATION because no one at this office would return our calls or fill our prescription. I really debated making a review but it can’t be a coincidence that my dogs seizures started THE DAY AFTER his appointment here and now they can’t fill his medicine because they can’t answer the phone?!? DO NOT LET YOUR PET COME HERE

I called and made an appointment. They confirmed 10am appointment. Then the day before they call and say, oh we don’t do morning appointments, we can reschedule for days/weeks from now.

Love this company! You pay monthly and it helps you pay for services over time. Great for people on a budget!! They are so good with my furry family pets!!

I see some recent negative reviews and I am perplex. My dogs have been very well taken care of for 1.5 years at this location. At today's visit I got to be in the room aside from when they took my dog back to examine her. There were two new employees and I watched the more season employees make sure they know exactly how to do things. I highly recommend the banfield pet plan. It has been so helpful when having multiple dogs who have different reasons they need to see a vet. It covers so much and takes a percentage off the things that aren't included in the plan. I know I've saved a lot of money from not having to pay for every single visit since visits are covered in the plan. It's $38 a month for my younger dog and $51 for my older one. The slightly more expensive plan includes more, including a free dental cleaning once a year. It's absolutely worth putting your pet on. The staff always treat my pets and myself kindly. Highly recommend!

Let me go ahead and say that if you are in the Round Rock/Hutto/Pflugerville area and are needing both routine healthcare and illness/injury care for your pets, this is where you go.Both Dr. Kelly her counterparts were able to appropriately diagnose my dog with a condition that was COMPLETELY overlooked by another Banfield provider (see review for Banfield Round Rock). They were able to quickly identify a problem, triage to the best of their ability and move my dog onto a higher level of care. The team members were compassionate, detailed and explained everything and took into account our family's concerns.I will NEVER go to ANY other Banfield, and if you care about your pets the way I do, you'll follow suit.

We had a great experience at this banfield. Our dog is nervous when out and about, but the staff were very patient and gentle with him. Staff was attentive and very clear on communication about ongoing care for our dog. We will be back to this location.

#NotTheSameBanfieldWe've been Banfield customers for years, but this will be the last. The high-pressure sales, and low-level service has gotten out of hand. When we dropped the dogs off, we had to wait a long time for in-take because they were "short-staffed".It then took them all day for the dogs to get their vaccines because the were "short-staffed".The one area that wasn't short-staffed was the sales department. I've spent less time and had more comfortable experiences with used car lots. Finally, they noticed a mass on my dogs chest. My dog has had that mass for 4 years. They have seen him multiple times. They are just noticing this now? They don't have it in their files? Of course they wanted us to get a cytology done on it. We've already done that and the results should be in the dogs files. It seems that they're much more interested in selling me unneeded services rather than treating my dogs.I can see by other 1 star reviews that this is the new Banfield business model. See ya.

UPDATEYour "copy and paste" empathy feels as hollow as your service. Here's an idea, why not show more care for your patients and clients? You want me to do more work and email your company? No thanks. A company that cared about customer service would take corrective action. Not put it on the shoulders of their customers that are feeling taken advantage of#NotTheSameBanfieldWe've been Banfield customers for years, but this will be the last. The staff is friendly over the phone. That however is as far as I got. I had set up an appointment for weeks ahead of time to be seen in office. The only time they could give me was a Saturday, which i was fine with. My dog is new to me, so i didn't want to just drop her off, and we had to be seen before we could schedule her spay. Then, about 30-45 mins before my appointment, I got a call to reschedule because the vet we were scheduled with isn't the 1 who does the spay. Which would be fine, but the 1 who does wouldn't take in person appointments, drop off only. This alone was absurd to me, but to add on the short notice, and the weeks I had already been scheduled, I just canceled and won't go back. I don't recommend anyone else does either. They don't want to deal with people. Only assembly line style your pet's through, like a drive through.

I posted last week right after her first appointment with them and explained how badly it went. Well to update everyone, she has not wagged her tail since the appointment. She limped for 4 days after the appointment too. She is still walking gingerly and not fully squatting for restroom breaks on day 6. After my last post, someone from corporate reached out right away making it look like they cared. They asked me to email
[email protected]…. I did email the same day with the requested information. Then I got an automated response saying someone would contact me within 2 days. Guess what? No one has contacted me. Please do not go to Banfield. I have regretted it for the last week. She was fine going into the appointment.

This is NO longer a vets office, but a wellness only clinic, where the goal is to upsell you on extra services. I havent been able to be with my dogs and the vet. Instead, you drop them off, the techician (sometimes the vet) calls you with a hard sell on dental products, vitamins, etc. Our dogs are family...we feed them only the best, and probably too many treats. When our old girl had an emergency, they would not even talk to me. They just sent me to the pet ER. If you just want wellness care, vaccines, it is fine. You still need a vet lined up for out of the ordinary events.

I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived there I was told my appointment was cancelled. I checked my call log they never called me to tell me my appointment was cancelled, there is no voicemail, and they did not send me an email although they had my email address information. I got off from work to bring my dog, and they told me they cancelled my appointment because there is no doctor on duty. No apologies, nothing!!! Shame on you!!

This is my favorite Banfield of all time. Dr. Carela took great care of our pup when she had pancreatitis and was very ill. Monica is the LVT and she's so awesome and personable. They have taken care of all 4 of our dogs with such kindness and expertise. Love Banfield!
