I was referred to Don’t Go Broke Mobile Auto Repair on my town’s FB page by so many people so I finally had a minute to text them after work on a Friday evening. My text was responded to quickly and I was able to schedule the appointment the very next morning. Pete was the technician who repaired an oil gasket leak and replace front brakes and rotors from my apartment parking lot. (While I could relax in my own home!!) Not only is this so very efficient and convenient, they are very competent, reliable and affordable and I’m very grateful to have been introduced to them. I highly recommend them for your auto repair needs.

Communicated daily, showed up on time, not only creatively fixed my car in 30 minutes, but checked for why problem originated and then drove with me for 10 minutes to make sure we were good. And Pete was super friendly. Couldn’t have had a better experience after worrying about taking my car into the shop. Top notch.

The only mobile mechanic that I trust in the area! Don’t Go Broke Auto Repair is fair on pricing, trustworthy, and very professional! Moving to the RR area was challenging on trying to find a great mechanic to work on my vehicles. After doing some research and going through horrible experiences with other mechanics / auto shops, I finally found Don’t Go Broke and he’s been working on my vehicles ever since. Save your self the headache and just call Don’t Go Broke for all your auto repair needs!

I am very disappointed with the service call today. I was quoted $460 for my repair that the tech said would definitely fix the check engine light and change my door motor. After doing an oil change and replacing one part- that who knows may not have really been bad he says that he can't fix the issue that I would have to take it to a repair shop. And still charged me $406 claiming he didn't charge me for labor. This to me is not any different from your conventional mechanic taking advantage of people, because here I am $400 plus dollars less and my issue is still not fixed. So no! I would not recommend this mobile repair service.
RESPONSE TO OWNER: I never asked for my vehicle to be repaired for free, if you read what is stated above I did say what was done on the car, however, you are being dishonest by not also stating that prior to your arrival I already stated to you exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. I have the text. I do not mind paying but you ripped me off, and you know it. Good luck to anyone that decides to go with your service. The text is attached. Before you arrived that was the code after you left the code was still there, so what exactly did you diagnose, I already new the window was broken when you arrived I asked for a quote for that and you said after looking at the vehicle I would need and oil change and a fuse that would fix my check engine light issue. I am not and never asked for free work because I am not strapped for money, so please don't try that. If you are a service that can only do minimal jobs you should be honya d state that and not come take.money that you did not work for. Good luck to anyone that uses your service.

Needed some routine maintenance and 2nd opinion about some work I was quoted on by a local shop. David was professional and honest saving me some money on repairs that wasn't actually needed. Very Satisfied and highly recommend. Communication was prompt and clear. Prices were competitive and worth it to not have to go to a shop and wait or Uber home and back.

Really great service! He was able to come out same day to look into the issues my ford focus was having. He was super thorough and explained everything that was going on. Was super understanding and prices were very fair. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again in the future if the situation arises!
