Johnny’s automotive Wrecker Service is a great place to shop. Johnny is a mechanic and has been for 55 years. He checks out these cars before they go out if something happens to them after they go out these cars are sold as is and that’s what a lot of people doesn’t understand if they get out there and hot rod them they probably will tear up. These cars are not new cars so I’d appreciate the bad comments to quit being put on our website. Thank you.

My car broke down in Spur, TX on a road trip back to Austin. I was in a bind in the summer heat (had my dog with me as well) until Johnny drove the 85 miles to come and give me a tow.
I was worried about needing to bring my dog with me in the truck, but Johhny was super friendly and helpful as he drove both of us back to the Lubbock area.
We got the car up on his flat bed and drove it all the way to his shop. He then got in another car and drove us to our hotel that we booked to spend the night, which was above and beyond.
Johnny was amazing. Highly recommend.
He’s now going to help fix my car, so will report back when the repair is addressed and I’m back on the road.
UPDATE: I came back to Lubbock to get my car from Johhny, he had it fixed a couple of days after I brought it to him. Good communication, the work was done when he said it would be done.
The price for the work was competitive and reasonable. Well, I didn’t get a quote at the dealership, I’m very confident. It would’ve been much more expensive there. Very happy with the work Johhny did!

3 days after buying, car overheated. It had NO OIL IN IT. NONE. It wasn't leaking. They just neglected to put oil in it. Overheating caused head to warp. Paid $4k for a car that lasted 3 days. Dealership kept avoiding calls, wouldn't return messages, and refused to try to make it right. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

They are amazing. They were helpful. They worked with me on the initial payment. They have a great selection. They're friendly and down to earth. They don't try to sell you things you don't need.

My truck broke down in ralls and my insurance company was giving me hell getting a tow just from ralls to lorenzo ?. I called this man and he was very polite he helped me with the insurance company and a tow. Then he helped me fix my vehicle at a cheaper price than any other quotes I got. Will use again. Ty ?

Well we had recently bought a used car when the AC went out, dealership brought the car here, got the run around on getting a NEW compressor so they kept the car for about 2 weeks. Paid 300 for labor, ok, fair enough. A month later AC goes out again. Took it to another shop, said they were missing a part and to take it back to Johnny's since they were the ones who installed it. Took it back. Said they had to get another compressor, but would still have to pay for labor...AGAIN!!! Told them that we paid for the vehicle to be fixed already and we were pretty much adamant about not paying for it again. Said they would let us know. Fast-forward a few days later, they didn't call us, but instead sent our car back to dealership where they told us that we had to pay $150 for the labor in order to release the vehicle back to us. No more fight in me, so we paid it. Got it back with dents on the roof of the car. 3 days later the car random smokes out, the battery light turns on and the car is fried. No doubt in my mind it had something to do with the recent "labor work" done to it. Dealership got the vehicle towed to "another shop"....haven't heard a word from them in a week. I wouldnt trust this shop again or recommend them to anyone.
