“This is a tiny IBC Bank branch nestled inside the Walmart on 1069. It's adjacent to the doors on the right side of the building (when looking from the parking lot). We've always used the big banks (since we lived in Austin) until we moved to the coast, but here most banks, if not all, are relatively small. Does this mean you won't get good customer service? Quite the opposite actually; what we've discovered here is that old country type of friendless where ppl remember your name. Plus this branch is never crowded, so it's easier to get things done; especially if you're shopping in the store. You can do everything here that you can in one of the larger IBC branches except there's obviously no drive-thru. However there's an ATM machine inside which is nice when it's raining or cold outside, and of course you can bank online. Should you need a full service bank, I would suggest the IBC in Portland, not Rockport. Nobody is having a good time at the Rockport location, and it shows. Portland however, is super friendly; just like this Aransas branch. I like that the employees here are always decorating this little branch according to the seasons, or sometimes just to make the place look more personal / homey and less "bankish". Feels good coming here... The COVID mandate is effecting labor these days on just about every business and banks are no different. Some banks might actually be closed due to a shortage of staff. This branch opened a bit late a month or so ago, but that's all I've seen since we've been coming here. Things are just different in Small Town America...”

“Great customer service.As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and assisted. Sorry I didn't get the associates name but she was extremely helpful and got what I needed done without having to sit in an office. I was on vacation and lost my bank card.She assured me that all my concerns would not be a problem. She walked me through the steps in the Wells Fargo APP and all was taken care of in a matter of FIVE MINUTES!!ONCE AGAIN,GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE”
