“Ingleside Animal Hospital is an outstanding facility and Dr. Rickey Broussard is fabulous. I recently encountered two beautiful, but terribly neglected, Great Pyrenees on a trip to Rockport. The dogs were clearly sick. Lethargic. One had lost much of his hair. It was heartbreaking. The current owner could not take care of them. I wondered if they were treatable. I found Ingleside Animal Hospital because I looked for a vet who had the ability to board as well as treat the dogs. My plan was to find another owner when they were well, but I wasn’t sure how to do it or how to make sure the current owner would surrender the dogs. Dr. Broussard recognized the broad question of life after treatment when we walked in the door and resolved the issue immediately with a phone call to the humane society. I am confident that his (Dr. Broussard’s) no-nonsense attitude helped solidify the current owner’s resolve to surrender the dogs.
It is a joy to get the help you need when you don’t even know all the questions to ask. Thank you, Dr. Broussard and Ingleside Animal Hospital!
