“Started going to Cross Point when Dr. Cruiser’s referred me to get my two male labs neutered. This was 15 years ago. I now have a 3 month old female Dudley Lab: Sunnie Rae. The staff have been so accommodating. They even had Sunnie do a video for how to search for microchips. They are a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Their services are affordable and rightly priced. Love this place and so do my animals.”

We went in for updates for a check up, vaccines, and a refill for flea/heart-worm meds.
Given that our old vet refused to refill the 12 mo medications because they and Chewy didn’t want to be legally responsible for medications when mailed to a PO Box. They also demanded a check up to get them. We literally moved hours away! These were barriers to her care.
Logically, I did what I needed to do and came to this vet. Doc was fast, professional, and efficient. He listened to understand. We were in and out quickly.
I was upset with the front desk lady with the stereotypical Karen cut purple hair who was condescending and hurtful. I think she was the vet’s wife?
I told her I’m there to take care of my fur babies two health needs. Of COURSE I know that not staying up to date on heart-worm meds puts my pup at a huge risk. That’s obvious!
Why do you think I’m here asking for meds and vaccinations?!? At the vet to take care of her! That lady didn’t talk like that to any of the other clients. I just really didn’t appreciate being talked to in that tone like that. I didn’t want to rock the boat by being mean back there…but here I am expressing my concern after the fact. Ugh. ?
I just hope she is kinder and listens better next time. Not just listen to respond or assume.
