“Late on a Saturday afternoon, we were in the second day, of a cross country trip in our F250, pulling a 5th wheel trailer, when we broke down on Interstate 10 in West Texas. We talked to a nice lady at the tow company that suggested we try to make it to the town of Iraan, where we could find a City RV park and a repair shop called J’s Service Center.We made it to Iraan, found the RV park, settled in, and waited for J’s to open on Monday morning. (By the way, the City RV Park was great! Full hookups for $15. a night!)Monday morning, we were on J’s doorstep at opening time. We were greeted with a hello and how can we help you, and immediately felt everything was going to be alright.Sure enough, they got the problem diagnosed quickly, started calling around for the hard to find part they needed, and also reassured us they would get us back on the road ASAP. Jay, the original owner’s son, really worked the phones to find the part and finally found one 113 miles away. They had it delivered and had us back on the road by late afternoon.We will forever be grateful for the way we were treated at J’s. They made us a priority, even though we will probably never be in Iraan again.
