Literally do everything possible to avoid this pharmacy. The WORST experience time and time again. Even my doctors DREAD when they find out my insurance requires them. Genuinely don’t even know how they are in business! They will mess up EVERYTHING and EVERY TIME.

Been trying to get my medication since November 6 2024 and today is December 10 2025. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any pharmacy when I first started my speciality meds, I got it thru Walgreens Speciality Pharmacy and I did not have ANY issues whatsoever but Accredo...well 5 weeks later, no medication. Someone please help them do their job!!!

Their shipping system is a disaster. It will tell you one date on the app and then they send it via USPS and there are delays. I am going to miss my medication becuase they're trying to save a buck and they aren't helpful when you call.

There is no way that Accredo is a legitimate pharmacy. I have been trying to get my medication for 3 months! Every time I call they tell me that they either need authorization from my doctor or from my insurance company. My doctor has made SEVERAL calls to them. My insurance representative has made SEVERAL calls to them. They have been sent everything they’ve asked for over and over again and I still don’t have my medication. It’s always something and they have me running in circles. My insurance rep even called them with me on the line and Accredo lied to me and said my insurance company hasn’t done their part. But, they didn’t realize that my rep was on the line and when she chimed in the Acceedo rep started fumbling over her words. There are just too many red flags with this company. It feels like a scam. If you can help it, DO NOT USE ACCREDO!

Everything worked great until it didn't. I received my refills on time, and the text message renewal system worked great...until they unenrolled me and stopped sending my refills. My doctor contacted them on my behalf, and it still took 41 days (and several more phone calls) for them to send my medicine. There's much more to the saga, but I don't want to air all my medical drama. Bottom line, don't work with them.

If I could give them zero stars I would. It’s an absolute joke that they are allowed to be in business and an even bigger joke that I’m forced to use them by my insurance company!

worst experience ever Took no accountability for actions. Blamed to Dr.'s office. It's been 8 days and 3 phone calls with long wait times. Still no medicine that is life threatening to miss. They truly do not care.

I just spent 30 minutes on a new prescription and the customer service seems to be located in another country. Very difficult to understand. Hope I get the correct med and they ship on time.

Worst pharmacy ever. Been trying to get my medication for 9 weeks been promised multiple time it will be here still not here. If it was a life or death medication I would have been dead by now and my family would have already put me in the grown n got over grieving me by now.Heck they don't even deserve 1 star in my book n this is not the 1st time this has happen to me with them.

Worst pharmacy ever! It takes months to get anything filled ( if ever!). Evan after receiving prior authorization and having it approved, the pharmacy won't fill it!

Well...where to start? It was rather telling when my doctor calls me to apologize in advance because my insurance company forced her to use Accredo for my medication and that I absolutely would have issues and wished me luck. Not a good start, but an extremely accurate assessment. Apparently this wasn't her first rodeo with these clowns.
I was prescribed very expensive biologic medication ($6,500+ per shot) with express instructions to abide by the treatment schedule. My first dose arrived without fanfare and only a few days late, so there's your star for the only positive experience to date. My prescription was supposed to be auto filled and sent to me for my second dose at 30 days. A few days after my 30 days passed, I contacted Accredo customer support to inquire about the now overdue refill which I hadn't received. I was told that the system flagged my refill for medical review and I would need to do a phone interview with someone. I received no phone call, no email, no smoke signal, no carrier pigeon message indicating there was an issue, I only found out when I called in to them to find out where my already overdue medicine was. No biggie, things happen I said to myself and shrugged it off.
So I call the provided number for my copay assistance hotline, the very kind lady explained what the problem was and actually teleconferenced me with the pharmacy and my insurance company to get things sorted. We were on the phone for well over an hour with all parties involved exchanging and verifying information. At the end of the call I was assured by all parties that all was good and check my account status 48 hours later to make sure everything went through with my copay to get my meds in the mail.
I waited three business days and checked the website again, still no change and unable to order my refill. Two more days elapsed, same story. I call Accredo again to see what the holdup is this time, was nonchalantly informed that it takes 7-10 business days for my account changes to take effect in their system and all I could do was wait - so wait I did. And waited. And waited. And waited. I'm still waiting. Even though my account was supposedly flagged for priority action during our previous week's marathon phone session because I was already overdue on a time sensitive regimen.
So every day the following week I check online and I still cannot refill my order and I'm showing a balance of $6,500 that must be paid before I can reorder. The date is now July 25th - my second dose was due on July 6th and I'm no closer to securing my medication than I was the day all this started.
Now I'm in damage control mode...I've asked my physician what happens when I don't adhere to my med schedule. A high chance of relapse with a vengeance and various other side effects as I'm not maintaining a constant level of the immunosuppressant from the medication. It would appear that my $5k worth of out-of-pocket doctor visits and labwork before my insurnce kicked in has been flushed down the toilet only to land me in worse condition than when I started. Well done Accredo! Luckily your cockup won't kill me.
Your mileage may vary, but I'm positively experienceing exactly what I was promised.

I have dealt with Accredo Health Group for 2 years. It has been a nightmare.
From month 1 I had troubles with Accredo billing and payments for my Humira prescription.
Even though the drug company, Abbvie, guaranteed that they would provide the drug at little, to no cost, Accredo could not request the reimbursements in a timely manner; it took Accredo over a year to request my last reimbursement.
Every month I would receive outrageous bills that did not make sense, so I would spend hours on the phone (1-3 hours per call) trying to correct the bill. Often I was brought to tears of frustration.
My doctor eventually changed my prescription to Rinvoq, partially because of the nightmare of Accredo.
That was one year ago and I still get Accredo Bills every month. Each month the bill is different and more outrageous, currently it is over $7,000, even though I have not used their services in a year.
I stopped calling Accredo Billing 6 months ago and I ignore their monthly bills.
After reading your comments, I understand that what Accredo is doing is malpractice and the company should be brought to court in a class-action suit.
Thank you for sharing your stories. I wish I had read your posts before my doctor prescribed Humira.
