This is an unethical company. They charged me $30 for an entire tank of gas and refused to pro-rate the unused gasoline. I drove 20 miles and used likely less than 1 gallon. You know they would have charged me for any gas that I used if I returned the car back and the level was less than I received it. I didn’t use any tolls and they also refused to refund me my toll passes totaling $27.98. Skip right past Ace and go with a more reputable company. I’m going straight to BBB.

I didn't even want to leave a 1 star! I forgot my credit card at home. So I used my debit card for which they said I need to put a $500 deposit down, ok understand. However up on returning my car and checking my billing statement this company only gave me $245 of my money back. Stating that I had an extra day on my vehicle!. The lady that I spoke with kept putting me on hold and couldn't tell me where the extra charge went. Then we she came back she said it was for TOLLS. I only use the tolls twice there no way it was $245. I am reporting this company. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY SAVE YOURSELF FROM HIDDEN FEES AND LIES!. I am fighting this!

Horrible service, they took more money than what we agreed on, and they charged way too much money for the insurance, nevertheless again they took advantage of me, I recommend before you reserve with them to double check and lock the rate. They charged me till 10pm instead of 11 am and added another day for me when I didn’t even need all of that, they said the rate was 30 then made it 105 a day for no reason.

This is the worst car rental place I ever seen and the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Dominique and Ms . Williams are unorganized undertrained and are rude to elderly people. Don’t book here are you will be disappointed everytime cars not cleaned and have problems while renting !!!!

Like many others would give 0 stars if possible. Rented a mid sized SUV only to arrive and be told they didn’t have any and refused any sort of apology, reparation or discount to simply take whatever they were willing to give us. While waiting in the line for our turn noticed there was not a single employee with a positive or kind attitude and in listening to the other customers step up to the counter they were each greeted by a disgruntled unhappy employee and then forced to make accommodations to what they had needed or requested due to Ace car rentals inadequacies. Just don’t expect to get what you need here and absolutely expect rotten attitudes from the staff due to a probably poorly managed company based on the reviews.

Dont rent with this company. Once you rent they let you know you can only travel to the 4 surrounding states. You are restricted to travel beyond that. My 500. Dollar deposit was not returned After 2 days, so I contacted them and they told me it could be up to 21 days before the deposit would be returned. I've rented hundreds of cars over the last 10 year due to my work and travel and almost alway receive my deposit within one or two day after dropping the vehicle off. Never have I had a company keep my deposit for such a long time. DONT USE THIS

I was in DFW on the 31st of January... the first day of the snow storm, I had a rental from another company that refused to send me the shuttle due to weather conditions ... so I ended up at ACE car rental, who gave me a very competitive deal although it was a super short notice, and within 20 minutes I was in my rental !!! Dominique is a super star !!! cannot thank her enough , she helped me out although I just showed up and did not have a previous reservation,... everything went so smooth and I had a wonderful experience, next time i visit Dallas I know where to go and who should I see, thank you so much Dominique !!

I will never use this rental company ever again. I booked a Midsize car and got a tiny budget one. My knees were upto the dashboard and my family could not fit into it on outings so I had to book uber to get places which cost me more money. Then they took $322.21 out of my bank account for a $22.21 toll and said it could take upto 21 business days to get the $300 back leaving me with no money in my bank. How can you just take people's money like that without permission. I had a horrible experience. Please don't use them ever.

The suv we received had bad tires… after 1/2 day travel we had to bring the car back. By then they didn’t have any acceptable suv available and we had to down size to a sedan. We wasted a whole days trip that we had to pay rental and gas far. They do not have management coverages at nights, so no one talk to about compensation. We will no longer rent from here and not recommend to anyone else.

Waited over an hour to pick up my rental car with only a handful of people in line ahead of me. Astoundingly inefficient customer service agents. Appeared cheaper than the bigger names online, but ended up paying just as much after all of the hidden fees. Save the hassle and book through one of the bigger names!
