I recently rented a car from this location while I was back in town visiting for the holidays. I was treated very poorly when picking up the vehicle, and I received retaliation from the office when I called to voice my concerns. I will not return to this branch.

First time ever renting a car and let me tell you this what's the most simplest easiest experience I've ever had to go through. After checking in I just got to walk down an aisle choose which car I wanted and leave. When returning the car I just parked the car got out got my receipt and left. It was so easy and I will definitely utilize this again next time I travel!

I feel it important to share my experience I had with Dollar rent a car at DFW airport. It was the fact that I rented and paid for a car to be ready at 3:00 and I was still sitting in the waiting room at 6:30. Yes 3hrs and 30min and you know what the manger Vadal Ayala said to me when I ask if my car would be ready at the hour time they had given me earlier. He responded by tell me it was a guesstimate. Remember I reserved and paid for the car a month earlier. Never was there an apology for the inconvenience and when asked if they would prorate the time I lost the answer was no. Lastly Vidal would not give me an address to write a complaint so here I am telling my story. Thanks for listening and please spread the word.

We rented a small SUV for 4 weeks. We got a great choice to select a car and got a very good one. The staff is kind and all the question we had were answered. Everything ran very smoothly even the shuttle from the Terminal was very quick to pick us up. We never experienced this so quick and easy. Thanks guys, M. and S. from Germany

For this review I am not focusing on any particular rental service. Rather I am looking at the logistics of getting to and from this remote center from your terminal... I flew into Terminal E, so I really do not know if your experience would be different. It seems that there are three different stopping points at the terminal so if the place is crazy busy it might be best to walk to the middle one with the logic of there not being too many people looking to still get off or on. If you do get standing room only you might be in for Mr Toad's Wild Ride. There was someone next to me comparing the journey to the last time he rode a bull. Well, maybe that is an exaggeration, but the reality is this place is far enough away from the airport that if they went slow your entire trip might be over before you get into your rental car. Yes, that's an exaggeration too, but you get the idea. I get it, Dallas is huge. The joke is it is the one place in the US where you can watch your dog run away forever -- but why they chose to build it this way for the airport and car rentals I do not know. I guess for an older city Dallas can also be confusing to navigate. (Thank goodness for GPS!) The designers of the roads getting out of the center I guess wanted you to have a crash course in that fact too. With all of that said, what is left is pretty much like any other remote rental facility you may have experienced in your travels. Plan ahead with extra time, and you will be fine.

Worst design I have ever experienced. How is it possible that any professional in logistics and design thought this was a good idea?

Hertz at DFW is HORRIBLE! We prepaid and reserved a vehicle about 2 weeks before we landed. When we got there around 11:30PM no cars. They sold them all and didn't honor our reservation or anyone else that night. Went back the next morning and they don't take debit cards and will not accept anyone else's visa other than the person who made the reservation. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Advantage Rent A Car I rented a vehicle on Memorial Day and returned 6/2/22. Returned vehicle was reported by Advantage representative as having Marijuana smell. I spoke with an Advantage representative Shemar, who claimed to be the manager after being prompted to get the manager. Shemar alleged Marijuana was smoked inside the vehicle. Shemar raised his voice after my denial of the claim. I addressed his raised voice tone and requested he does not speak to me aggressively. I remained calm even when being rudely interrupted by Shemar. Shemar was not receptive to my calm demeanor and threatened to disconnect the call. Shemar did not want to listen and continued making false allegations while speaking aggressively. Again, when ask to speak to manager. Shemar said "one will be here at noon". Initially, Shemar did not provide name of manager. Shemar disconnected the call. Basically, he hung the phone up in my face. I called back immediately but no answer. The final attempt recalling, Shemar finally answered the phone. I reminded him that he abruptly disconnected the call. I requested to speak to his supervisor. Shemar expressed unknowing the supervisor at first. Instead of saying supervisor name, he referred to the supervisor as "she". When asked what is "she" name. Shemar denied knowing. With more relentless prompting, Shemar decided to spill the beans and reveal supervisor identity as "Dominique". I thank Shemar and disconnected call. Afterwards filed bank dispute for the $250 charge, and typed this review. Thank you

*AVIS* This was a disaster from the beginning to the end, just awful! I usually rent from AVIS whenever I travel. In this case, I needed the car for a day. I paid for my rental prior to the pickup and, brought the needed paperwork for those using debit and didn't want a credit check. Little did I know, that wasn't it. To start, I kid you not, I was in line for a total of, one hour and forty minutes. Remember, this is at the DFW Airport, this is by all means, unacceptable. The line grew to the point it reached the entrance doors (that's a VERY long line). At some point (an hour into the wait), people started going up to the counter to express their disgust, I don't blame them. To start, there were four agents. Two, in the midst of the line growing, decided to take a lunch at the same time. Eventually, one later left for lunch. I don't know of any professionally run company, where that is acceptable. In most cases, you pause your lunch to clear out AT LEAST, sixty percent of your line. All the while, the line had continued to grow to over forty people, if not more. Once the transaction was completed, it took another fifteen minutes to secure/clean the car and move to the next person. In total, each person was at the counter for almost twenty-plus minutes (one person was there for over 40 min). It seemed, most, were not aware of the credit check (if you weren't traveling), nor did they pay attention to the additional deposit needed, if not using a credit card. I'll address that below. Now, my turn at the desk. Again, after waiting in line for over an hour and forty minutes. If you're traveling with a flight itinerary, you should be fine. If not, even with you paying for it online, they'll hold the additional cost of the vehicle on your card. Per their contract, if you don't want the credit check, you'll need to provide additional information (utility statement, ID w/ the current address, insurance w/ the current address..etc) I have a lock on my credit and each inquiry, even a soft one, needs to be verified and approved by me. Needless to say, the gentleman didn't want to acknowledge what was written in their contract. I walked away without the car I already paid to rent, after all of that dang time waiting! It makes me wonder why the agent chose to ignore what is in their contract, I call foul on this one. The best thing about this awful experience would be me getting my three hundred back, quickly. The refund was immediate, and I ended up not needing the car. The weekend was enjoyed, and the additional money made it even better! I can't say I will not use Avis again, but only when traveling will I use them. There is a higher probability I will move over to Enterprise, sometimes paying a little more, improves the quality of service significantly.

Long wait for the shuttle bus followed by an even longer wait at Budget Rent A Car. Just not acceptable
