What I brought in broken jewelry would have a melt value of around 150-160 they offered me $20 and the guy working the counter wasn’t even allowed to give me a price he had to call someone else who was clueless as to details of the transaction he wasn’t even at the store . It says a lot when you leave an employee unsupervised to run the business but don’t trust them to do anything . what they advertise is false . don’t waste your time this place and management are a joke . Too bad dingers moved to Plano but it’s worth the drive

I can't say I blame him for the practice, because I'm sure it is how this industry has to make money, but I was in a rush, didn't act like I knew anything and just hoped for a fair offer right off the bat. They offered me $200 for gold bars with a melt value of $475 because they thought I was a novice. Sadly, blindly trusting the dealer to offer you a fair amount from the start isn't likely to go your way. For those reasons, I can't recommend this place to newbies or to people who just have 1-2 pieces of gold or inherited some and know nothing about what they are doing. Dingers gold in Plano will pay spot.

They offered me $200 for gold with a melt value of $475 because they thought I was a novice. I will say that he did ask for my phone number and may have been willing to offer more down the road, but I was in a hurry and couldn't give it to him and so it is that my impression of this place, fair or not, is that I can't get a fair deal here without at least doing some research. Sadly, blindly trusting the dealer to offer you a fair amount from the start isn't likely to go your way. For those reasons, I can't recommend this place to newbies or to people who just have 1-2 pieces of gold or inherited some and know nothing about what they are doing. I am willing to give the store another chance and will update the review if they reach out to me. Before giving them another chance, I have a couple of appointments and will be able to compare them to local dealers (Irving, Tx) if I update this review.
