Unbelievable! They’ve had my Jeep for weeks. Every time I call I’m put on hold and transferred around the whole time. No one knows what is going on. They must not have anyone in charge at all. No sense of process or chain of command. You just call and get put off indefinitely!!!
11/18/2025 Update: vehicle has been at shop since 10/24. Finally insisted on three-way call with warranty company. James from the dealership was very helpful and willing to wait on an almost 40 minute wait time when we spoke with the warranty company. They said that no claim had been filed at all contrary to what I was told by the dealership that they were waiting on appraiser. I can’t even imagine how long we would’ve been sitting in limbo had I not followed up. Once they were all on the line, things went smoothly, and we filed a claim and got the details of timelines and what to expect. I recorded the call. We will see what happens from here and I will update my review accordingly. Changing to three stars for now since james was so helpful!
When I went to pick up the vehicle, they were very considerate tried to get the vehicle looking spiffy even though no work could be done on it due to my warranty company. I do appreciate the help from the floor manager I believe it was James. Not the best experience, but I think they were quite swamped.

Don’t trust this dealer. I drove from Oklahoma, almost 4 hours. 1 hour before arriving they called and said they couldn’t find the keys and that the Tahoe 2025, with 5k miles was planning on buying wasn’t working. They had the audacity to say that I could still come in and pay for it and then they’d call me to pick it up, they didn’t know when exactly. This was so unprofessional and the fact that they didn’t even apologize for making me drive all the way out there nor did they offer any time of compensation. If this is how they do business, then I don’t want it. Lack of accountability, lack of communication, lack of respect, lack of it all.

Update 10/24: he GM called on Wednesday and said he would get back with me, but it’s now Friday and I haven’t heard anything further. I also received a text from corporate asking me to email them about my feedback, which I did, but I haven’t received a response there either.
Update: After posting this review, I was notified by my dentist’s office—where my sister-in-law happens to work—that a suspicious Google review using my full name had appeared. The review spoke negatively about me personally, something no one outside of that dealership would have reason or access to write. When I tried to follow up, the service director who had previously asked me to reach out finally answered his phone and essentially said, “We’ll take down ours if you take down yours.” The only way they could have known this personal information is by going through items inside my vehicle. That kind of retaliation and invasion of privacy speaks volumes and only further confirms the lack of professionalism and ethics at this dealership.
The only response I was offered after all of this was a free oil change. Why would I ever take my car back there?
My experience at Clay Cooley Kia in Irving was appalling. I have never encountered such blatant gender discrimination and outright dishonesty in a service department. I brought my Telluride in with an obvious coolant leak and was repeatedly brushed off and told everything was fine. Despite explaining the issue several times, Kevin in the service department refused to take me seriously. I ultimately had to escalate to a manager and still didn’t get anywhere.
The moment my husband called, everything changed. Suddenly, they were eager to take another look and started investigating the issue they had insisted didn’t exist. The message was crystal clear: as a woman, my concerns were irrelevant until a man validated them. That kind of behavior isn’t just unprofessional, it’s insulting, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, I was told the diagnostic fee was $99 and that if I chose to have the service completed there, the $99 would go toward the repair. Later, they denied ever saying that. To confirm, my brother called from his work line and asked the same question, and they told him exactly what I was told originally—that if you have work done, the $99 goes toward the repair, and you only pay the $99 if you don’t have any work completed at the dealership. When I called out how poorly I was being treated Kevin called my husband and said, “Come get your car.” Absolutely not. They are the dealer and supposed experts on this vehicle, and I wasn’t picking it up until the problem was fixed.
The irony? After I authorized a basic coolant flush, something that obviously wouldn’t fix the problem, they miraculously found the real issue. The timing was beyond suspicious, and it only reinforced how poorly and dishonestly they operate. Their negligence could have caused severe, long-term damage to my vehicle had I picked it up.
Even after finally diagnosing the leak, I was lied to repeatedly. I was told it was in the rear of the car and that the bumper would need to be removed to repair it, which is absolutely untrue.
Clay Cooley Kia’s motto is “Shop Me First, Shop Me Last.” Based on my experience, it should read, “Ignore Women, Mislead Customers, and Pass the Buck—Either Way, Come See Clay.” Their service department doesn’t just lack competence, it lacks integrity, respect, and accountability. If you expect honesty, professionalism, or to be treated equally regardless of gender, stay far away from this dealership.

I was on my way in for an oil change when a lady side swiped my car. I got to Clay Cooley’s(Irving) and was just in tears not bc I was hurt from the accident but bc My Beautiful Black Impala was scratched. Not Too Bad but in my eyes it was Totaled. Well while waitin for the oil change, Service Rep David Arriaga saw me crying came and offered me water and told me the damages weren’t too bad and I should be thankful it’s just a Minor scratch… He was very Polite and very Kind got me situated while trying to explain that my battery 🪫 was acting up as well and needed to be replaced. It was very Expensive and I was already frustrated and told him I was under the impression my services for the car should have a 2 year warranty… that wasn’t the case. He got his Director Juan Zamora to sit down and go over all Affordable options and payment plans with Me. They really came through for Me. I thought I wasn’t gone be able to leave wit a battery or oil change. Thought I was gone have to Boost my car everyday until I could afford to get it fixed, but they Really Looked out for Me… I’m on tha Road Again and Grateful 🥹 they could’ve sent me away but they took the time to Help Me I got my oil changed and a new battery and I really appreciate them. If it weren’t for David talkin Me outta of CryBaby Situation I probably would’ve filed a serious complaint on the Gentleman that sold me the car.. So I Thank You David And Juan for your kindness and sincerity…

I bought a brand new truck on June and almost September and Plates are not ready; the wifi system on the truck doesn’t work and they couldn’t fix it. When you try to buy a Car they tell you they can help in anything after you make the purchase and I been texting the manager and the assistant manager for the problem and they never reply back. Please Don’t purchase here.

The manager Robert wasted my time, I was told that the truck that i was interested in was available, but lied and later told me the truck was sold. Drove an hour just to be lied to, Worst experience ever at a dealership
