Worst pharmacy, don't want to work with doctors offices to get things resolved. Have no respect for patients time or their health care professionals. Plan on spending countless hours talking to people who don't give a damn. So sorry for people who have to use this company for their medications. If could give a lower rating would do.

CVS is just greedy and over priced for prescriptions. In addition the pharmacy support help is incompetent slow and they are understaffed. The working conditions for the Pharmacy is horrible they provide more room to sell candy and junk. CVS is completely mismanaged at the top. The new pricing structure is more of the same, however it's in a new wapper.

Called 2 x to the pharmacy in Kyle, TX to get them to return a prescription to stock to get it filled elsewhere. Waited 25 minutes the first time. Waited 1:27 the second time. At 7 pm I was then hung up on without ever talking to anyone. Spoke to a store manager who gave me CVS customer service. They couldn’t get through either. They said I just have to go in which I am not able to do. Asked for a call back from a supervisor…still waiting. I know you’re short staffed but this is NOT acceptable. Do better!

The automated phone system is not accurate. Prescriptions said they were being processed for 6 hours. Went to the pharmacy and was told they needed Dr approval for one. Had to personally calll the Dr office. After finally getting it filled the pharmacist was extremely rude and defiant towards me and could not answer any questions about the messages I was receiving. Very unprofessional.

This company overrides doctors, and claims that their employees know more about medical necessity than the patient's doctor does. Quote from their denial letter: "The fact that a covered provider has prescribed, recommended, or approved a service, supply, drug, or equipment, does not, in itself, make it medically necessary."

This is the absolute worst prescription mail service. It should not take ELEVEN days to get a medication to the patient. Every time I have to refill my medication I end up having a gap and go DAYS without it because CVS Caremark takes DAYS to simply process the order, and then sends it out via snail mail. I HATE being forced to use this company by my insurance and would happily dump it in a second if I could. This company has the worst customer service, the reps never know what they’re talking about, the website is always super glitchy, the app doesn’t always work or runs slow, and the information rarely updates on time. It’s one big mess of a company. I’m so tired of it.

I am beyond frustrated with this service. Any controlled substance is a nightmare to have refilled. I have had to make several phone calls and the company still could not get the prescription correct. And now I am being told that the wait will be even longer even though they fully admit to their mistakes. Red tape with big corporations.

They lie about having contacted specialist for a form to be completed before they would authorize rx of a CRITICAL anti seizure med. Neurologist had to contact THEM to provide the information they needed. They then delay the sending of the med claiming the Dr. Hadn't contacted them. LIE! After over an hour of escalated calls they eventually concede the Dr HAD completed the required paperwork. However, NOW they claimed they couldn't send the rx as I hadn't answered 2 telephone calls confirming my address. ANOTHER lie! While on the phone with them I checked the date/times of these alleged calls: NONE received, or not answered! ANOTHER lie! NOW they are supposed to call me 8am and confirm my address but unlikely to be able to get the rx to me before Monday. A life critical medication that I will be out of after Friday!This company is incompetent, not above telling blatant lies, falsifying computer records claiming calls were made that weren't and don't care that such behavior will place a patient's health, if not their life, in jeapordy!!!!I wish my local pharmacy could get this drug - too new and too few local customers require this particular prescription - so that I wouldn't have to deal with such an unethical and dishonest mail order pharmacy!

You guys have a very rude manager at your Odessa location on 42nd. She couldn’t respond with wanting to instead continued to make the situation worse especially with her saying she’s in charge and a manager! What great people you have working for you!

Very disappointed at the lack of competent people who process billing and constantly changing how much we owe. The drug company offers coverage!!! The CVS billing people are supposed to charge savings card then debit card from drug company covering my medication at 0 once my insurance copay is met. They seem to not comprehend and keep rejecting my prescription until I pay, 4,000, next week I call it’s only 50, next week after it’s 0. The. I get a text saying my prescription needs attention. I call and now they have no record of the debit card and charging me $$$ again.I call drug company that gives me card numbers again. Never mind that CVS specialty billing processed my prescription with this debit card in February and I had issues again and it’s always changing. I had to call drug co and they gave me debit and saving card ## again.It’s a circus. Meanwhile I lose sleep worrying about not getting my medication for rheumatoid arthritis. Then spend hours bouncing around to various departments or on hold at CVS specialty pharmacy for them to figure out their own system again! It’s ridiculous and we the patients are treated like yo-yos and causing mental distress and exasperating my stress which triggers my arthritis and other issues like raising blood pressure for no reason but incompetence from my pharmacy! No wonder I see a 2.9 rating for this company, I asked for corporate billing head number and the lady had to get permission from someone else putting me on hold again to even get a number. 15 minutes later I hung up in frustration. I had already been in the phone for an hour plus going between drug company and CVS specialty. Nuts!!!!

CVS in Rowlett Texas on Lakeview Parkway is the worst place to pick up medication.I go pick up my daughter medicine and I was told they couldn’t find her medicine and they will call me when they locate it this the second time I have had a problem with this location.

DO NOT USE AS A PHARMACY ADD ON FOR YOUR INSURANCE!!!!! They have made me jump through hoop after hoop to get my birth control pills in a brand name, because the estrogen absorption is too high in generic. They only let you know whether your prior approval paperwork has been approved or rejected by SNAIL MAIL, when they could send an email. But no, they would rather people sit in limbo wondering if they're going to not be able to function or die from not having their medications. As soon as my open enrollment comes around I'm changing my plan! I still don't have my medication and I will be going into 24/7 migraine very soon. I believe I will be talking to a lawyer to sue if I cannot get my prescription filled and end up losing my job because I can't work.
