This was the first and last time I will be going to Diamond Nails on Virginia Pkwy in McKinney, TX. I went in for a basic manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was decent but the manicure was horrible! The nail was not filed evenly, the cuticles were not tended to correctly and the clear clear nail polish was on the fingers. When I showed the person at the register the manicure they said they could fix it. I took the time for the fix but as you can see in the attached photos the fix was horrible. All they did was file the nails and as you see the nails are still horrible. They gave me $5 off but now I have to go somewhere else to fix the horrible that was fix and was still horrible! I wanted to give them zero stars but the system wouldn't allow it.

All of the staff are super nice and this is the best dip service I have ever had! I am at 3 weeks and my nails are not coming up. i can wash my hair without it getting stuck in my nails . Definitely my new nail salon home.

Vu has been doing my nails for years and Lily gives the best pedicures. I trust NO one else with my nails! Hands down the very BEST!!!!

Very unprofessional and unprofessionally priceed . I was asked to pay in cash and this was after Buisness hours so I assume she oocketed it SMH . I was told I would have to pay $30 to have one stone placed on each finger of a full set after I had already paid for the set . Ann was the employee !

Really? What a mess. Had to redo it myself. Paint is uneven, cuticles are jagged; I feel taken. It won't happen again. Use to LOVE this place.

All of my nails broke because she shaved them too thin. Then when I needed to get 4 fixed she charged me $25 and was really rude about it. I always tip 20%, I will take my money somewhere else. You guys suck.

I know for most people this place is a hit or miss but I truly think they do a really good job here at diamond. Their staff is efficient and puts in good quality work. Also, if you're there for eyebrow waxes, ask for Nina! She will get you right with the snatched brows!

Very sad to report this. I've been going here for many years. The people are awesome and do nice nails, but the last few months, the place is filthy. The table tops, the lamps, the polish bottles and supplies. How do they not see the filth....I can't go back.

So this place has some sad reviews, and I want to clean that up. Me and my mother have been coming to this nail salon as walk-ins all the time! We always get seated fast and taken care of the best. Then again we try not to come in on rush hour. The more you go, the more they get to know you and treat you like family, My recent time in there was last weekend. I was able to walk in and get my finger nails done in a nice manner. Ann, the head worker started me off and then switched with another girl that did a wonderful job. This is the place me and my mother has found to be one of the best nail salons! I always come here even if we moved to Arkansas they'll expect me and my mom back anytime!

I see split on this nail salon. Some are great some are NOT. For me, the place was filthy and dirty. There were layers of nail dust all over everything. The place was in shambles overall. Things piled up just an eyesore. There is a lot of visiting and people sitting around doing nothing when they could have been cleaning and tidying up. The whole time I was there I felt like I was sitting in a dirt pit. If the shop is that dirty then the tools and hygiene overall I put into question. Ann, the owner did my nails they were done great. However; she is popping up and down to attend to issues and things she had to direct. Took 80 minutes to do Nex Gen nails. I live close so I thought this would be great so I could be in and out then home. I may as well have stayed where I was going for the time spent sitting.

The nail tech saw me looking at the menu and pointed to the most expensive option and said "you need this one." I went along with it as it had been over a month since I had my toes done. He rushed through the whole process. Even exfoliating the bottom of my feet took less than 10 seconds per foot. From start to finish it felt rushed and sloppy. So I paid $65 dollars plus $20 dollars extra for gel for a bad pedicure. I certainly won't be back.

I have been coming here for a few months to get pedicures. I recently got one and paid over $60 for it with gel polish. It started falling off within two days. I went back in to get it fixed on day 4 and they told me I would need to know who the person was that did it or I would need to have a receipt with the persons name on it or they would charge me again for the gel. I offered to show them the charge on my account if they did not believe me, but that was not good enough. They told me i could come back in an hour and talk to the manager if i wanted to. Absolutely poor customer service, and I will not be back.

We had a HORRIBLE experience at this nail salon. They gave me the wrong nail color and didn't confirm the color, they also left paint on our hands and toes. My mother got dip and they filed most of the color off. We spent $145 dollars on a gel manicure, dip manicure, and 2 classic pedicures. It was not worth the price for the horrible nail job.
