Visited the Dollar General on Rochelle and Story Road in Irving. The employee who is tall, probably Hispanic female, with dark framed glasses was the rudest employee I have encountered since I have shopped at that Dollar General since it opened there, probably about 30 years. I have never had a problem with any employee there. She was disrespectful. She tried to inflict her authority that wrong is right because she is an employee there and refused to give me her name, saying she didn't have to give me her name. She has been late at least 3 times in the past few months, sometimes over an hour late, people waiting outside until after 9 am. There are boxes all over the isles and empty shelves. I don't understand how she is still employed there. Because my income is limited, I must shop there. I know she will try to throw me out when I go again to inflict her power on me. I am 75 years old and do not appreciate such an insolent, disrespectful person to wait on me with such disdain for customers.

WENT TO MAKE A PURCHASE PICK UP ON DECEMBER 28TH BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9 TO 9:30 AM . GOT TO THE COUNTER AND NO ONE WAS THERE. AS I PLACED MY BASKET ON THE COUNTER TO BE RUNG UP I TAP THE BELL ONE TIME FOR SOMEONE TO COME OUT. AS THE BLK. LADY CAME OUT SHE LOOKED AT THE BASKET LIKE IT WAS A CRIME TO BE ON COUNTER. SHE DID NOT SAY HELLO OR NOTHING. AS SHE COMPLETED MY LAST ITEM, SHE PROCEEDED TO HAND ME MY RECEIT AND BEFORE SHE COULD SLAM IT ON THE COUNTER I REACHED AND TOOK IT OUT OF HER HAND. IT IS DISRESPECTFUL TO SLAM A CUSTOMER PAYMENT RECIET ON THE COUNTER. SO, SHE GOT UPSET AND SAID FOR ME TO NOT COME BACK TO THE STORE OR SHE WOULD CALL THE POLICE. IN CONCLUSION, THE MERCHANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FULL TRANSITION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF THE EMPLOYEE IS HAVING A BAD DAY THEY STILL SHOULD NOT TAKE IT OUT ON THE CUSTOMER. THIS LADY IS BAD BUSINESS FOR DOLLAR GENERAL. PLEASE REWIND THE VIDEO OF EVIDENCE.

Store used to be great but it's gone downhill. It's usually dirty and boxes on the floor. There's a black girl who has a scarf on over her wigs who works there who's always rude and on her phone. I bought a 12 pack of bottle water and she charged me for EACH one instead of the 12 pack price. I don't notice until I got homeI actually give it 1/2 ⭐But the lowest I can give is oneWould not recommend

All the employees are extremely helpful and friendly EXCEPT there is an African American girl who always has a scarf on her head anytime of the day which is so unprofessional looking that is extremely rude! I myself am African American so it has nothing to do with race. My first encounter I didn’t really think much of it. I thought maybe she was just having an off day, but I don’t know how she is with anyone else or if it’s personal or if she just hates her job or what….I don’t know, but she is RUDE!!! She is always huffing and puffing when I ask her anything and short and dry when responding. Always rolling her eyes and she makes no attempt to try and even act welcoming or friendly being that I am a customer coming in to spend my money. Definitely turn the other way and go to another location when I see her.

Somehow the staffs have issues with federal employees. They somehow feel they’re racist enough to make subtle references to people.

I've been visiting all of the Dollar General's in my area to see what all the hype is about. I see folks on YouTube stacking coupons and saving money!This store was ransacked during my visit. It was a Friday afternoon so that might explain it. There was a pillow aisle with pillows on the floor and people were just walking on them. It was too chaotic to stay long but I was able to check out some aisles. This must be a very busy store.

Normally ok,but there is this one lady with red hair who is always on her phone and is rude to customers. I had to tell her one of the coins was a $1 coin after she kept trying to get me to pay more for something that is $2(I gave her more than $2) and she always has an attitude about everything.
