We went in to make a deposit and upon entering we were not acknowledged nor properly greeted. When one of the men decided to look up and ask how can he help us, he passed us on to another broker. We were seated in the first office and witnessed each customer given a friendly welcome and offered refreshments upon arrival. Of course, those who received such reception were not of our complexion. It wasn’t until they saw the amount that we were depositing that people were introducing themselves and shaking my husband’s hand. Even though this location is closest to our home, we will not be returning. Hopefully, the next branch recognizes that our money is green like everyone else’s.

Fidelity sucks! They will block and lock you out of your own account and request a litany of documents for “verification “ taking months and hours of phone calls and still not have the money. I don’t see how they get away with this hold up. It’s criminal at this point.

Christmas is here and bills are piling up, however I knew I could borrow against my 401k to help with rent. I got an eviction notice and called fidelity to request a hardship withdrawal on 11.27.23. It is now 12.11.23 and I still don't have my money. When I call they say your money was sent by check, when I entered my direct deposit info they still sent it by check. The agents say they can't stop the check and reissue my money by direct deposit. It has been about 3 weeks and now I'm in jeopardy of loosing my home. They say the mail is slow...no problems from Amazon or family members sending stuff for Christmas, so that excuse doesn't fly with me. I just need my money. I am beyond frustrated with this company and just need my money!!

They'll gladly take your money and let it work.Trying to get it out is a quite a chore, and requirements seem to change rapidly as to what hoops you get to jump through. And good luck finding a center you can actually go to to talk with anyone face to face.

Absolute waste of time. I am a long time customer of fidelity for over 20yrs. I had an appointment scheduled at this office. I arrived early to find despite me actually setting up an in person meeting at this dpecific branch someone changed it to a phone meeting. Furthermore, i asked could somone else help me since i sawlike 4 guys just sitting around drinking coffee or eating. I was told to have a seat and he would try to find someone. Mind you none of the people I saw were on their phones or their computers. Then a ranom person who was not a customer walked in and 2 mins later was seen while I continued to wait. Ill never visit this location again and i will seriously consider never doing business with them when the martket is better. Terrible customer service.

Don't put your money into this company...especially a checking account. They act like they are a bank but will hold your funds for weeks until a real bank clears the deposit. There is a reason this is not a publicly held company. Shady practices in their "free trades" and other transactions. Stay away.

My mother passed away and they advised that distribution to transition accounts is easy for beneficiaries. I was the only authorized party. We followed all of the instructions and when nothing happened we didn't know why. They moved the money and froze it and it's been three months of battling them to simply distribute to those of us who followed the instructions. They transitioned everything to me and then froze it.Everytime I call, I get the same run around and promises of it being fixed. The case manager (Jeff Straley) never responds and I cannot get through directly to this office to make an appointment. They've made bereavement a nightmare simply for questioning my mothers decisions. It's been a traumatizing nightmare for a reason I simply can't get my arms around. I've spent 4 to 5 hours some days arguing with them and begging for help and being transferred to no one ultimately. I have logs of names and calls and answers and no one has followed through or ever called back. This is the office my mother used and no one answers there either they just keep shipping the calls off and back to this "transition team" or "death team" who basically leave me in tears. Losing a parent is hard enough and all I'm trying to do is ensure her wishes are executed. They've been a nightmare.

If you want to keep money in fidelity, they are good. Their website and mobile app is good for that as well. But if you need to contact them for taking money to other institution or wire, you are on your own. They have made that process extremely difficult, non transparent with no customer service to deal with the issueI have submitted the form more than 2 weeks ago at this branch. Their ‘back office’ is still reviewing the form and it is 40 mins to talk to in person rep about the issue. Their bot chat is as d*** as a rock !

Fidelity is great from what I can tell, but I'll admit that I'm not the saviesy investor. However, their advisors will give free advice, and they seem to have great services/products. It was really nice being able to go in and talk to someone face to face.
